"we really liked the vibe of the whole place... a great staff.... we had only booked it the morning of... for a quick night away... we are somewhat local..... overall it was ok... and it pains me to say that... we love a good historic inn.... with all its quirky and oldness.... . I wanted it to be better! .... the bed was terrible... and honestly a good queen mattress is not that expensive (NECTAR) ... missing outlet plate... missing light bulbs... door knob was so loose... the continental breakfast could have been a smidge better.... simple add ons... like ice water.... yogurts.... bananas.... I am not sure we would stay again.... but we would definitely eat there again.... again.... wonderful staff... so that is always good!"

"Had a wonderful time. Everything was just as listed. So enjoyed being greeted by brownies, fresh eggs, milk and a loaf of bread. The lodging was very clean. I appreciated the wonderful communication with the Lapp family. I felt right at home. When in the area, I will look them up to stay again. Such a blessing! "

"The property and host were great! Very accommodating. The place was perfect for my wife and I. The farm is so well kept as well as the loft. If I ever travel back to the Amish country I can assure you that the Jackson farm will be first on our list. Can’t say enough about this family!! My kind of people!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. It was Peaceful, serene, and relaxing. We especially loved the animals and being greeted by them every day. The host stayed in communication with us, and had provided basics we needed before arrival - down to fresh farm eggs! We enjoyed watching the horse a buggies pass by daily. You are out in the country life, but close to unique shops with goods made and sold by the Amish. We hope to be back to the area and will definitely book this place again! "We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The atmosphere was peaceful and lovely. You could feel it right away. We loved the open bibles in the bedrooms and framed scriptures on the walls. It was particularly comforting because our family had recently been through a tragedy. We know God is using it for His glory! Staying here was truly a blessing! Candace was wonderful and very accommodating. The home was very welcoming and clean. The bedrooms were lovely and we slept better then we ever have in a rental. The furniture was also very comfortable. There were many thoughtful details the hostess put into the home. Our precious 3 year old niece loved the playroom and toy space under the main set of stairs. She also loved the kitchen drawer with children's plates & utensils she could choose from. It gave her great delight! We highly recommend staying here and plan to come back as soon as we get a chance. Thank you Candace and Merv for all you put into this special place! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality! "Our stay was amazing! The house was warm and inviting especially with our 4 younger kids. The David and family invited us to their farm to feed the goats, horses, learn about the culture, and go for a horse and buggy ride. The fire pit area was a great place to relax, talk with friends and family, and enjoy the scenery. We also enjoyed sitting on the swings while watching the horses go by. The house has plenty of room, we were able to enjoy quiet time while the kids played in the family room. I'm definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future!"
