Or stay at Falcons rest was OK. The house was clean & organized. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked. The downsides: We showed up 15 mins early for check-in and didn’t realize the code was on a timer for a precisely 4 PM. I texted 3 hrs prior that we would be a little early as we got an earlier ferry. No response. When we texted & called when we couldn’t get in. No response. Then later came the explanation that it was on a 4 PM timer. The coaches sent to the ground, practically and prob should be replaced. Lastly, we had brought the umbrella out from the shed. We did this primarily because we wanted privacy on the back deck. They have a camera on the front and back. I understand a camera being on your front door, but I find it creepy to have cameras looking out on your deck. Maybe an explanation that it’s there just to check the door when nobody is renting. But I just felt uncomfortable. And to prove my suspicions of being watched. The umbrella was left up one afternoon. I was home all day, under the weather. I was watching it for wind reaction and it was fine. I got busy doing something & 30 mins later, I noticed it had somehow been taken down and leaned against the ground. My Hubs said he didn’t do it. So it was clear they called someone to come on the property “unannounced” to deal with a situation I had under control. They should’ve just reached out to us. Maybe show your guests more respect in the future.
