Park Central South Beach
8/10 Good
"PCH is a nice hotel in a great location along Ocean Ave. in South Beach! It's mix of Art Deco architecture and vintage decor is in line with most hotels along the hospitality strip. Being within walking distance of bars and restaurants that stretch for several blocks as well as Washington St. shopping district is a plus. The beach and Lummus Park's fitness amenities and running paths are literally across the street! Check-in and out was pretty seamless and friendly. You can earn a free cocktail by leaving a review during your stay. The included continental breakfast is a nice touch and is a light way to fuel your morning and rest of the day. The pools are also great, especially if you get up to the rooftop one in Building 3, which has amazing views. Table/bar service can be a bit slow, but is friendly! Our room in the middle building on the ground floor had an A/C leak which caused paint to drip from the ceiling as well. Front Desk had someone deal with this though and it didn't appear to be an issue the rest of our stay. Photos of the rooms on Expedia seem a spacious 500 sq. ft., but can be a bit misleading in my opinion because they feel much more cozy than that...the separate living area is completely taken up by the pull out bed if you need to use it...but having two TVs is great and bathroom was very spacious. Our room's fridge was perfect, but the outer doors had an interesting configuration...you couldn't close the fridge without banging one of the outer doors."
