Just 4.5 miles from La Fortuna (a quick 10-minute drive), this charming holiday home offers everything you need to relax and enjoy nature. Arboleda’s House features beautiful mountain views, a spacious backyard, and direct access to the river via a private trail. High-speed WiFi (200 Mbps) is available throughout the property, ideal for remote work or study.

The house includes 3 bedrooms with A/C, a comfortable living room with a 60” Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and private gated parking for up to 3 vehicles. The backyard also offers a cozy BBQ rancho where you can grill and unwind.

Excellent home close to many things

Backyard was the highlight of this house, on the river and very lush. Felt like you were in your own jungle back there. Very close to town, but hard to walk in dark. Front porch also fun to watch the storms come in. Close to many hikes/parks. We loved our hike at Mirador el Silencio - probably our favorite of the trip in the pouring rain! Think we did all the trails in there.

Wonderful home look no further!

So wonderful!! The porch is.incredible! Listenting to the river and watching parrots and all the animals. The home is sooo clean and comfortable! We were so happy there thank you! Location is perfect as well, just outside the town. We miss.it already!

Great stay!

Air conditioned and plenty of space for our whole family, this house was perfect for adventures in La Fortuna and near Arenal Volcano. A little more road noise than we expected, but otherwise- perfect!

Peaceful getaway!

Great stay

We enjoyed staying in Dionorah’s home. We had all we needed, we enjoyed being out of “town”, the back yard was heavenly. Abigail’s cafe, down the street, was yummy although it had spotty hours.

Nice Place

The home was clean and well stocked with basic necessities which was appreciated. The owner was easy to get in touch with. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. The only things I didnt like were the showers didnt get warm at all and there were a lot of tiny ants in the kitchen, making it hard to prepare food. Other than that, we had a very nice time. The backyard is beautiful with the river and lots of plants.

Love this place.

This was our second time staying here. It is a beautiful little home. The home is super clean and a perfect location for those wanting to get some rest but only be a few minutes from the happenings of La Fortuna. The host is wonderful.

You are booking this place because of the nice backyard and it is a very nice backyard. Otherwise the listing does not live up to expectations. There are ants everywhere. In the bedrooms the ‘closets’ are cheap wire racks screwed to the walls, cheap furniture throughout with some it held together with random screws, many electrical outlets do not work, bathroom mirrors are ornamental with actual mirror the size of a side plate and hung at about 5 ft (good luck if you are taller than that. Oh and open electrical in the showers and the master bathroom door has no handle and pretends to use a safety chain to lock it. It’s not a bad stay but by no means a 10/10.

This place was excellent place for our family of 4. There was a really comfortable outdoor space and a path that lead to the river. We enjoyed so much of our family time at the backyard playing board game and listening to the river/birds. Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again in the future when we visit La Fortuna.

Perfect for family

10 mins from downtown Fortuna this place is the perfect spot for a family. The home is nice but the backyard and river access will leave you speechless. Safe, comfortable, and the host was available for all our questions. P This place was perfect for our family.

Our stay at Penas Blancas was all we imagined!

The entire process from reserving, to check in and check out was seamless. We were in town for 1 evening and the house met all our expectations. Very clean and accommodating for our group of 6 ( consisting of 3 adults and 3 kids). Short drive to town and restaurants and supermarket.

Lovely river Cottage

This home was beautiful. We stayed just one night but loved the out door sitting area and the sound of the river. The host was very kind and it was a flawless booking. When we come back we definitely will stay there again. Perfect Costarican home.

Great backyard!

We loved our stay at this location and especially loved the backyard! On our first few days we saw a sloth and toucans. Dinorah snd her family were very helpful and attentive. The house was as advertised. We loved our stay and are already planning a return trip!

La Fortuna

The property is amazing, 15 minutes to downtown La Fortuna. It was a bit further out to do some of the activities. Owner is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the backyard is amazing to relax at the end of the day.
