Happy memories - even if for only 1 night

After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by.

Room was comfortable, warm & clean. The honour system for drinks downstairs was a lovely idea, of which we took advantage! Seating area was inviting. Stairs to upstairs rooms very steep. Would definitely stay again.

Sleep to the sound of the waves

We loved our return visit to the Madsen at Penguin. We were ab le to stay in a room overlooking the beach and with opening window we could listen to the waves as we went to sleep. The Queen sized bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Microwave and tea making with plunger coffee available. Very close to shops, cafes and the Penguin Brewing Co. We love staying here

Location couldn’t have been more central. In checking in, Phil was super friendly & knowledgeable. Hotel and rooms were all very clean and comfortable. The door locks were very modern and felt safe & secure. There was even fruit, small selection of drinks and coffee included. We will definitely stay again if returning to Penguin in the future.

Good place, on the beach. The room is cute with everything you need. I’ve had better places design and cleaning wise. On the beach, close free parking and very close supermarket. The receptionist was lovely, there isn’t someone in the reception all the time

Clean, had everything I needed. Complimentary port! Lovely facilities. Close to beach. But would have been good to have someone to greet us. At least there was clear instructions. Shower leaked and made a mess but was nice and hot. enjoyed my stay.
