Warm welcome and a clean and comfortable room in this friendly guest house a short walk from central Penrith. Great advice on transport from the owner and delicious breakfast served in our room. Nothing more needed for a relaxing stay.

Lovely owners, welcoming and helpful. Very reasonable rate for three of us to stay. Breakfast was fab and comfy beds. Plus the home made cookies on arrival were just beautiful! Will book again next time.

The single room was great, bigger than I expected, spotless clean in bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, I really liked the fact it was served in your room kinda like room service, as a solo guest it avoided them awkward breakfast room conversations with the other guests πŸ˜€. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Just needed an overnight stay close to Blencathra and everything was spot on. Owners welcomed me by name without introducing myself first. Big single room with en suite and TV. Onsite parking and breakfast delivered to the room was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, owners were so nice and helpful, while i am not a vegetarian the breakfast was really good, perfect omelette and I really appreciated the butter was actually at room temp so it could be spread and not rip the toast apart. Great sound proofing and very comfy bed. Thanks very much

A great location and a very comfortable property with proprietors that were amazingly accommodating. Fingers crossed you get some warm cookies upon arrival and the breakfast is spot on even if you are not a vegetarian.
