Wonderful stay at the Queens Hotel, made even better by Firuze on the team who looked after us so well. She was so kind, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference and turned a good stay into a great one. Highly recommend!

Splendid location of traditional seaside hotel. The full seaview we had from our double bedroom was amazing and calming and we enjoyed the mid week craft sale in the dining room. Staff were generally welcoming and helpful but there could have been a few more on duty at breakfast as noone came to offer us tea or coffee.

A 15min walk from the station, we were able to drop our bags ahead of check in and explore St Ives for the day before returning by train to check in after 4pm. Beds were comfy & clean. Furniture arranged slightly haphazardly but safely. We missed a bar of soap but had gel, shampoo & conditioner in small screw top jars. Breakfast was good but understaffed. Many people waited longer than expected for service and the staff were working hard. We would return.

Wonderful place to stay in Penzance. Charming older hotel with exceptional staff. Greetings from reception, attentive & pleasant dining room personnel, Lovely gathering place for ladies, artisans, locals & visitors. Lovely welcome at The Queens by the Receptionist. Hotel car park makes such a difference in busy Penzance. Very impressed by our sea-view room on first floor. Delicious breakfast the following morning. The 11am checkout gave us extra time. Such a lovely atmosphere at this hotel. Will come here again.

Easy check-in, very friendly and helpful staff, and a cooked-to-order breakfast were the stand-outs from my stay. There is good parking and the hotel is in a prime location with excellent views of the bay. This was my third stay at the Queens Hotel and I have no hesitation in booking again.

The staff are lovely helpful and polite. The very best part of the hotel which is sadly a run down Victorian/Edwardian pile in desperate need of a total revamp. However, I know this will never happen as it would not stack up financially. Served us well for a single night on the way back from the Scilly. One of the few dog friendly hotels we could find in Penzance. Breakfast was nice but we chose a really busy time and the staff were amazing under pressure. The place was remarkably busy. But I guess that reflects the limited choice in the town.
