"We loved this quaint place. The afternoon staff was amazing, the am staff did not seem like she could be bothered to look at me. Once I took a manager’s business card, she looked up but still couldn’t be bothered to ask me what I need. The only thing I would suggest is at least a small fitness center."

The fact that I had not been in SLO in 26 years made me somewhat apprehensive about the town and not knowing about the area. My wife and I stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely helpful in restaurant recommendations and provided exceptional service. Complimentary breakfast was absolutely outstanding. All the guests we met made similar comments. Even the "happy hour" (again complimentary), added a wonderful chance to meet other guests and socialize. Although the facility was smaller, it was totally adequate. Good parking with a wonderful European flare. Again the staff made the already great experience even better. ALL staff worked very hard to make our stay the best. Their consistent wonderful attitude made the difference and is rare in today's society. On multiple occasions, one of the staff could even be heard singing softly as she worked... "
