Very beautiful Villa / Private Swimming Pool / PrivateGarden / Jacuzzi

Located in the North-West countryside of Lucca, between the town and the Versilian coast, The villa is a welcoming and secluded property, rich in colors, harmony and comforts. We are conveniently located close to the famous beach resorts of Versilia and the magic town of Lucca. Since it is less than 12 km from the motorway exit, it is an ideal base for visiting the main Tuscan towns. Guests who rented our villa in the past have particularly appreciated the beauty and quiet of the estate. The Villa has been built with modern materials and furnished, and is especially bright and full of light. Its structure makes it ideal for two families ( two separate kitchens ) who wish to take a holiday together, while maintaining their own privacy.Modern facilities, including a TV sat and WIFI connection,hydro massage have also been provided. Shops and restaurants are located at only 500 metres from the villa. .In front of the house there is a lovely large covered patio furnished as an outside sitting area, with table and chairs, which is ideal for eating outside. The big pool (10 metres x 5 h.1,2 / 1,5) is just in front of the terrace, in a level garden that is well suited for young families. The pool system uses no chlorine but salt, so the water is healthy and perfect for children or those who are allergic. Quality beach towels are provided for each guest. Nice outdoor garden area for children: two nice swings and a sandypit.The area around the villa is ideal for people who love cycling and relax.

Super nice and private villa.

Overall we had a really nice stay. The villa is awesome. Especially the pool. We loved the fresh water during the hot days this week. Also the rooms were spatious and the garden was very private. Perfect for our families. Many thanks.

Familienurlaub

Die Fotos des Hauses geben einen wirklichen Eindruck des Objektes wieder. Die Lage zwischen Lucca und Viareggio in den Hügeln war für uns genau das Richtige, so konnten die verschiedenen Bedürfnisse der großen Reisegruppe abgedeckt werden. Der Platz war für die Anzahl (13) der Personen sehr gut bemessen und jeder fand seinen Platz zum Entspannen. Der Salzwasserpool war für alle perfekt. Bei Schwierigkeiten war Alessandro schnell mit Hilfe zur Stelle.

Toller Aufenthalt

Haus, Pool, Zimmer ( bis auf da Zimmer mit den Stockbetten) alles Super. Das Zimmer mit den Stockbetten ist Max. für 1 Person geeignet. Zwei tolle Küchen auf zwei Geschossen. Pizza Ofen - Genial. Toller Aussengrill im Garten. Allesandro war da, wenn man ihn brauchte - Danke! Anlage trotz der Hitze wunderschön grün. Gerne wieder

Great vacation!!

We loved our stay in the yellow house!! Good size on the pool, sunbeds for everybody and a nice lawn around it. We were 6 adults and 5 teenagers in the house. Good space for 11 persons in the house, but we spent most of the time by the pool or under the patio in the shadows. Good to have two kitchens when we were so many. The bedrooms in the basement are the most comfortable to stay in the heat. We had chef Joanna over to cook for us one evening. That was a great meal!! I really recommend people to do that. Commuications with Alessandro was easy, and he was helpful when needed. You will need rental cars if you stay here, the house is situated a bit far from restaurants, bars and shops. But easy to explore the area from the house if you have a car. We loved our stay at Villa Luna!!

Paradise in Tuscany

We joined friends to stay at this perfect sized place for two families of 5 in Tuscany outside of Lucca. The location was about 12 min outside of Lucca, 35 min from Viareggio beach and in a cute tiny village that still had coffee/pastries, pizzeria and a bar that were just down the street and to which we walked multiple times. The pool was clutch as we hit some pretty warm weather for June and we were in it every day. Even with all these wonderful things, perhaps the highlight was a homemade meal made for us by chef Marinella and we would HIGHLY recommend enlisting her services through the host for a complete and delicious Tuscan meal served by her. She does all the cleanup too. It was a perfect night. The host Alessandro was responsive and easy to work with. The only small downside is that the house was not stocked with basics like dish or bathroom soap, trash can bags or extra toilet paper. These things were easy to find and buy at the supermarket down the street. We did ask for more towels and dish towels and he delivered all of those quickly. We hope to be back!

Gerne wieder

Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub. Die Villa Luna liegt in einer schönen Gegend und ist genau so schön wie es sich auf den Bildern erahnen lässt. Der Vermieter Alessandro ist total nett und war bei Problemen oder Fragen direkt zur stelle. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub. Daher mein Fazit gerne wieder👍

Taking a break in the Tuscan hills

Superb location for the whole family, we enjoyed getting out into the country, spending time around the pool and the house is huge with plenty of areas for everyone to have their own space. A great place to enjoy the Italian countryside!

Villa Luna

Wir verbrachten einen schönen Urlaub in der „Villa Luna“. Die Lage zwischen Meer (Viareggio) und Stadt (Lucca) ist optimal. Unser Gastgeber Allessandro war jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Villa selbst ist in einem guten Zustand, wenngleich auch teilweise etwas abgewohnt. Erwähnen möchte ich die Aufteilung des Hauses: im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Küche, ein Bad und zwei Wohnzimmer, im Obergeschoss ein Schlafzimmer mit einem großen Bett, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein Schlafzimmer mit einem 1,40m Bett sowie ein großes Bad und ein winzig kleines Zimmerchen dass als Abstellkammer oder Kinderzimmer für ein Babybett genutzt werden kann. Alle Zimmer sind hochwertig ausgestattet und das OG mit Fliegengittern an den Fenstern ausgestattet. Der Haken ist eher: eine „Wohnung“ befindet sich im Keller des Hauses. Hier ist ein weiteres großes Schlafzimmer, ein Zimmer mit 2 Stockbetten und ein Bad sowie ein Wohnzimmer mit Spielecke und Pizza Holzofen sowie die zweite Küche. Das Problem ist, dass hier keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern sind und lüften sich somit nur mit „Kleintierbesuch“ durchführen lässt. Außerdem wirkt die Kellerwohnung dunkel. Wir haben es so gelöst, dass wir etwas umgebaut haben und eine Familie im zweiten Wohnzimmer im EG geschlafen hast, nicht die Ideale Situation auf den „Notbetten“ im Urlaub zu schlafen aber besser als im Keller. Ende August sind hier in den Bergen die Nächte kühl und die Tage heiß, optimal für uns. Der Weg zum Strand in Viareggio ist abenteuerlich über Serpentinen aber in einer halben Stunde geschafft. Nach Lucca gehts sogar noch schneller in 20 Minuten ist man in der City. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt der auch „Dominica Aperto“ also Sonntags geöffnet hat sowie eine kleine Bäckerei fürs morgendliche Frühstück. Oben in den Bergen haben wir eine tolle Trattoria entdeckt und die Kids freuten sich über Ausritte in die Toskana mit der Il nostro West Ranch, ganz in der Nähe. Wir hatten tolle Urlaubstage und können die Villa voll empfehlen.

Touch of Tuscany

Charming villa, beautiful, well kept inside and outside. Plenty of space and facilities. Excellent service at the site. Even for the best can always be something found for improvement: insect screens also at the lowest floor could be added an extra drying frame would be a good idea ( for larger families)

Ein schöner Urlaub in der Toskana

Das Haus bietet viel Platz (eigentlich zu groß für unsere Gruppe von 6 Personen). Der Garten und Pool war ein Highlight und sieht tatsächlich so schön wie auf den Bildern aus (vor allem im Dunkeln). Man fährt schnell ins wunderschöne Lucca. Der Weg zum Strand von Viareggio ist wegen Serpentinenstraßen etwas anstrengender aber auch zu bewältigen. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber Alessandro war reibungslos und angenehm. Er war sehr hilfsbereit.

Lovely villa, great location for a chilled holiday with the option to travel around.

The villa is large and the outside area is great, pool is awesome! Joanna was very helpful throughout with suggestions on where to visit and good restaurants. The villa is within a 5 minutes walk of a friendly bar & lovely ice cream shop and about 10 minutes to a patisserie, supermarket, pizzeria and restaurant. About 15 minutes to drive into Lucca to explore there or take a train somewhere. The bus service is infrequent but reliable so just plan ahead. Easy access to major roads to travel. We visited Venice, Pisa and many small towns during our stay. Food in the region is amazing with some lovely restaurants within 15 minutes drive either up the mountain or into nearby towns and villages. The villa has everything you need, although bring tea towels, dish clothes etc. with you. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave so that rooms upstairs were very warm during the night, the fans didn't really help with 40 degrees outside! - sleep downstairs where it is much cooler if this troubles you. Minor things like covers on the sunbeds could do we a refresh and the ping pong bats have seen better days but this didn't detract from our enjoyment of the outside area of the property! All in all a great holiday and I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting peace, quiet & privacy but the opportunity to walk or drive out to explore further! Thanks Joanna!

Beautiful villa with fantastic views and lovely owners

We really enjoyed our week at Villa Luna. It was fantastic for what we needed to keep three generations happy. It is very spacious and the pool is lovely, together with outdoor seating and childrens’ play equipment. It is well kitted out and had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and we enjoyed a delicious meal cooked by them. The local gelateria is also a must-visit! The only negatives we can think of are minor... the road noise was louder than we expected from a small village and the gardens have sprinkler systems which gave us a bit of a fright at night (and soaked our clothes!). The table tennis table was great but could do with some new bats. Other than that, it was perfect! Thank you!

Accueil et gentillesse des propriétaires nous ont définitivement convaincus d'avoir fait un bon choix. L'équipement de la villa est au top: grande piscine, nombreuses chambres, 2 cuisines sur 2 étages permettant à 2 familles de vivre indépendamment. Wifi de qualité et propreté de la maison. Nous vous conseillons de faire un repas avec le chef "Joanna" aux fourneaux. Un délice en multiples services!

Fabulous!!

Comfortable house and great location.a real home from home plus the sunshine.safe and secure with local amenities on the door step. Early april found the pool too cold to sample but a great size and ample sun beds. Owners were there to meet and greet and very welcoming. Spent most of week visiting towns and cities all at close range. Handy having a car as public transport in village not great . House is suited to large families/groups as plenty of space for everyone. We are already looking at the summer for a return visit
