"The owner/manager was amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. He took the time to chat and get to know me, even commenting on how he used to love about 5 miles up the road from me, even though we were 6 hours south of our hometown! The room was almost completely renovated. Brand new lighting over the vanity, new floor (that was also super clean), new TV, new mini fridge (vintage styled), and the cutest little bistro table. Plenty of space and a huge bed. I was on the back side of the property with a nice view of the hillside. The view looking out the front would have been amazing because the hotel faces a valley. Would definitely stay again as it's on the quiet side of town away from the traffic of race weekend!"

"What a lovely home! Darbi had sooo many wonderful and thoughtful amenities everywhere. I loved the layout and decor. I spent every morning in the hot tub watching the birds (I think they were wood pewees) and other wildlife in the backyard. There was tons of pamphlets of local historical information, which was a great touch. Highly recommend everyone should stay there! If we make our way back into that area, we will definitely be booking there again. Thank you!"

"Staff was excellent room was clean. It felt safe be aware that if you use the safe in your room that they will charge you and if you don’t use it, they will still try to charge you and you need to tell them. I’ve never had that happen before they did refund my money and we’re very kind about it."
