"We were attending a wedding nearby & booked Tommy’s Shack for the weekend for a group of friends. We loved the accommodation, the house was unique, open and spacious. Convenient cafe across the road for coffees and breakfast. Great host, who allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready at the property prior to attending a wedding that afternoon. Good value for money considering how many people the house can accomodate. "

"We just spent five days at the Millfield Homestead with our family, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we booked, the communication from the owner, Emma, was exceptional—clear, friendly, and helpful. The peaceful country setting made our stay even more special, with kangaroos often spotted around the property and beautiful morning coffees enjoyed on the verandah. The house had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!"

"The checkin process was really friendly and fast. Our room was clean and charming. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious - it's a popular spot!! We then had a few drinks in the bar and loved that it was a real country pub and everyone was up for a chat and a laugh. We're booking to come back with friends - we loved it."

"Lovely peaceful location. General maintenance substandard. Personally had to replace blown light globes, kitchen light not working, replaced batteries in multiple remotes, CD player jammed closed. Kitchen/lounge blinds missing. Unlikely to return even though the house is in a lovely restful country setting. "

"The property was just lovely, all we needed for our group. House was so clean and nicely decorated and equipped with all the essentials. Loved the different areas to have meals, the wrap around verandah is such an asset and a lovely place for Brekky with fly screens added to avoid insects getting in. Also a great place for our dogs to sleep at night. We brought our horses and used the arena to ride them in. The countryside around is so pretty. We were able to visit Wollombi village quite easily and go for a lovely long walks and a paddle in a creek. We enjoyed the fire pit at night too. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you "

"DO NOT STAY HERE. RANDOM PEOPLE ACCESS THE PROPERTY. EITHER THE OWNER OR THE PROPERTY MANAGER HAS GIVEN THE GATE CODE TO NUMEROUS PEOPLE AND THEY SIMPLY ENTER THE PROPERTY AND REFUSE TO LEAVE DESPITE YOU REPEATEDLY ASKING THEM TO. WHEN I CALLED THE PROPERTY MANAGER AND SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER THEY SHE REFUSED TO ALLOW ME TO SPEAK WITH OWNER. THEY ALSO HUNG UP ON ME AND DID NOT CALL ME BACK. WITH ANY RESOLUTION. AFTER THIS ANOTHER TWO PEOPLE ENTERED THE PROPERTY WITHOUT NOTICE OR CONSENT. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. THE WAY WE WERE TREATED IS DISGRACEFUL. "

"Beautiful place! A nice cottage surrounded by trees and birds. If you want want to decompress and turn off from the world, this is the place. It still has wi-fi and TV, so bring your Chromecast or Fire TV stick. Location is gorgeous, right in the middle of the forest. Even though there are some wineyards nearby, it is about 15 minutes from the main area in Pokolbin. We were greeted with a breakfast basket and the cottage was very good (number 3). Modern on the inside, rustic from the outside, with a nice fireplace, air-con, and full kitchen. This unit also has a spa outside, which is perfect for winter days. Would go there again for sure!"

"Amazing stay with plenty of rooms and hang out areas for large groups. Kitchen was big and open with good pots and pans for cooking. Beds were very comfortable including linen and towels. All amenities were of extremely high cleanliness. Central heating was very effective and was very warm even for such a big place. We had an issue with the hot tub but Anman had it fixed very quickly and communication was outstanding. He was very lovely to deal with and we really appreciated his willingness to assist for a great stay. Very luxe and would definitely stay again!! "
