"The property was well kept the staff was amazing. The front desk staff on Tuesday night a young g lady whose name began with the letter A was outstanding. Our first room air was not working and she did a great job of getting us into another room. However the room was not equal to our room. We had no balcony and it was not romantic as I had booked. The restaurant staff was outstanding and the bartender as well. Overall it was a good stay. Liked the pool as well. This was our 8th year wedding...

"Rooms great. However towels smelled bad and no schampoo, just showergel. Our stay was not cheap so that is something I just expect to be there. Shower was partly broken, couldn't use showerhead from the roof. No big deal. Breakfast tasted good. However it was small and no exotic fruits but from a tiny bowl that few people got to taste. Old House of charm with swimming pool and panoramic view between Etna and sea

"Carmello and Alessandra were the perfect hosts. We were met and shown around the property at the allotted time. This traditional villa with original features is querky in design with was very well appointed and lovely and cool making it a retreat from the heat of the day. Bedrooms are all of a good size with comfortable beds and the bonus of each one having it's own shower room made for easy living. Each bedroom has an airconditioner. The mature garden is an oasis with a lovely big swimming pool and several quiet seating areas. The property is not overlooked and Mt Etna is clearly visible from the garden. One evening we were invited as the guests of our hosts to an open air grand piano concert which was given by a world renowned pianist. A truly exceptional experience. Trecastagni is a town off the tourist route and has a wonderful authentic feel with a bakery directly across the little street from the villa enabling us to purchase fresh baked bread, biscuits, cakes and pizzas daily. A Co-op is a 5 minute walk away which provided most things we needed during our week's stay. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance that serve delicious authentic local food including freshly caught seafood. The town was celebrating a Festa when we were there and special food, music, parades and church services provided a happy, fun atmosphere with colourful lights. We felt lucky to be among the local population during this special time for them."

"The house was clean and easy to navigate. The situation was perfect for chilling, Mount Etna behind us and the sea in front. 40 minutes from Catania allowed us to feel the hype and when we didn’t we stayed pool side and enjoyed the view.The house was well presented and the little annex was perfect for overflow of visitors."

"we stayed for one night it is more like business hotel , it was in good location (some moles around and 30 minutes drive to the air port ) plenty of free parking lots , and a modern building. the Hotel is charging extra's for the use of the SPA , also we wanted to eat some Pizza which we bought out side and the restorant worker did not let is seat in front of the resturant ... so we need to eat it at our room. beside that the Hotel was very nice."
