"This wonderful Forest Lakes cabin was located in a perfect location and had everything we needed to cook and just relax. We were there for the whole month of July was just awesome to get out of the Phoenix area Heat. It was so nice to enjoy the cool Forest pine trees with all the wildlife, got to see deers with their fawns and the turkeys with their little ones. Thank you Shannon, Shawna and Aeron for taking such great care of us and our dog too. !! We willl definitely be back again to this wonderful private location."

"We loved the view from our unit. We stayed for 4 nights and would recommend bringing a small package if toilet paper. They do provide one extra roll but when I asked for more, housekeeping never left it for us. We managed and overall it was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Would would stay there again!"

"We enjoyed a nice week-long stay at the Hillside Inn. Our room was very clean and quiet. The bed was a comfortable Tempur-Pedic style mattress. The Continental breakfast was decent with oatmeal, toast, English muffins, bagels, blueberry muffins, several types of cereal, and yogurt along with milk and juices. We liked the extended hours for breakfast, sleeping in some mornings and getting out early other mornings. There was ample parking but the street to get to the hotel has a lot of potholes and in need of attention by the city. It was a good thing we did not bring our Ebikes because there is no place to secure them and they're not allowed in the rooms (not that we really want to do that) and most hotels don't have accommodations to secure them. We were 5 minutes from the golf course, minutes from some great restaurants and centrally located for abundant hiking opportunities. The individual room air conditioners can get a little loud, but we set the fan to run continuously so it really just created a constant white noise that we adjusted to and could sleep through. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub - both were well-kept and clean. It was unusually hot the week we were there. While the rooms were cool, the hallways were hot! Our room was on the 2nd floor and while not a problem for us, I don't believe they have an elevator. Guests with mobility issues need to request a room on the first floor. Overall, a great stay!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely cabin in a great location, walking distance to lake with a beautiful view! Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and I had all the basics to cook with in the kitchen. All VRC staff that I interacted with reserving and asking questions to were phenomenal! I would highly recommend this cabin to others as long as you are ok with two things: 1. The wifi router is located in the cabin next door and as such, the signal was in and out/stronger and weaker at times. 2. The bedroom walls are open at the top to the living area and to each other. If you are with anyone who is going to sleep on a different schedule than you, noise will carry. That said, neither was a deal breaker for me and thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Great place to stay. Had plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of spacious room. Our family loved everything. Porch was so much fun and the plenty of views on the lake. Loved the deer and the wildlife. Kids loved the canoes and fishing. We would go back again and again. Host was so gracious about telling us about all kinds of information. There was a close grocery store and a Walmart. Saved us so much when we needed anything. Some of our people even hiked and went golfing."
