My stay at Riverside Spa and Resorts was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the bathroom in my room was dirty, and the washer was filled with dirty towels from the previous guest. The fold out sofa bed was very small, and uncomfortable, The indoor pool was absolutely disgusting, with a strong urine smell that prevented my kids from swimming. The smell was so overwhelming that we had to leave the area immediately.
I was also unable to book a spa appointment, so make sure to book well in advance if you plan to use the amenities. The next morning, my family and I woke up with bites on us, which was concerning. I suspect it could’ve been flea bites, I'm allergic to dogs, and although I informed the resort of this upon arrival, I suspect we may have been given a room that was previously used for guests with pets.
Additionally, despite being promised an 11 AM late checkout, I was harassed by staff from 10 AM until 10:25 AM to leave the room. Overall, the cleanliness and service were subpar, and I would not recommend staying here.
