"Always a great hotel and my first pick whenever I go to the Netherlands. On this trip I had 4 separate stays at this hotel. My platinum status was acknowledged 3 times and I was upgraded twice. At my 2nd stay the lady at the front desk apparently did not know free upgrade was a thing for Expedia platinum members. As it was only a one night stay I thought it not worth the hassle. Fortunately the other times this was no problem at all. The renovation seems to be completed and I love the updated...

"** READ & AVOID THIS HOTEL ** We have stayed there many times but now never again. Definitely not a 4 star hotel! The disgusting lack of cleanliness in the room was our main issues. We went to sleep in the bed, we noticed there was no sheet, when we pulled back the fitted sheet it was stained! There was approximately 6 or 7 different stains on the sheet! We complained they sent up cleaning staff & she went to put the new fitted sheet on it also was also stained. Nobody is bothering to check if...

"Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met heerlijke verse producten. Vriendelijk personeel, De kamer was schoon en functioneel ingericht. Heerlijk bedden met goede matrassen en fijne badkamer met aparte rainshower en handdouche. Veel parkeerplekken. Het hotel ligt op een druk kruispunt, maar weinig geluidshinder van gehad. "

"اجراءات الدخول كانت سهلة جدا كما تم اضافة سرير اضافي داخل الغرفة بدون ان اتقدم بطلب لاني ذكرت في الحجز عدد النزلاء ٣ لكن للاسف لا تتوفر غرف متصلة لكن الغرف جميلة وحديثة وواسعة جدا جدا ، تجربة الافطار رائعة جدا كما يوفر الفندق خدمة ايجار الدراجات الهوائية و يمكن التجول بها لمدة يوم كامل وتوجد قرية قريبة من الفندق طبعا الفندق يقع مسافة ٢٠ دقيقة او ٢٥ دقيقة الى روتردام ويوفر الفندق مواقف مجانية. لم الاحظ وجود بقالات مقاهي او مطاعم قريبة من الفندق."

"Het is een net en schoon hotel. De kamers zijn goed geïsoleerd, dus oordoppen zijn niet nodig. De locatie is prima, je kunt er goed parkeren en voor het hotel stap je zo op de bus richting het centrum/station, waar je ong in 7 minuten bent. Het ontbijt is goed, uitgebreid. Dat mag ook voor die prijs. Ik zou het zeker aanraden als je wilt overnachten in Leiden."

"Vriendelijke personeel die Nederlands spreken. Ruime kamer en ruime badkamer, heerlijk! Lekker ontbijt met zeer veel keus. Voldoende ruimte om te parkeren, netjes aangelegde parkeerplaatsen."

"The room was a bit more basic and bathroom less modern than other Van der Valk hotels but was well located for my husband to do a “Z” Parkrun! Added bonus was the inclusion of entry to the bird park the hotel is next to - we really enjoyed our visit there in the morning!"
