Quiet and comfortable

Quoet amd comfortable room. Very clean, and staff were vety friendly. Breakfast was cold continental style. It included breakfast breads, fruit, and the fixings for a hard bolied egg, hummus and arugula sandwich. No hot food. Otherwise, it was a a good stay.

A charming inn

A charming inn with nice rooms upstairs and downstairs and a variety of cozy public rooms on the ground floor. Very nice, serve-yourself continental breakfast, although no hot food (at least not on our weekend). Well-located near the center of Pine Plains.

The Inn was a perfect place for us to stay. I brought a dog along & it was easy for me to get him in and out without disrupting other guests. I would recommend this place to other travelers. Plus it is very close to MA, which has great hiking trails.

Perfect place to stay!

What a perfect little B and B! We stayed in the the Tamarack room, which was equipped with a separate living room and kitchen area. There were a few complimentary snacks and beverages along with a Keurig. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The DUTCHESS suite was lovely! Spacious and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable with quality linens and pillows. Two bedroom plus an open up sofa! Kitchen had a keurig style coffee maker, mugs, glasses plates, utensils. They also had an electric tea kettle. Bottles of water and a few sodas were left for us in the mini fridge, and a few snacks as well. My sister had an issue with heavily scented (febreeze) pillows in her room- but ours had a very neutral scent. Not sure why. We did not take advantage of the breakfast offered, so cannot comment on that. We found the rooms to be stiflingly hot for sleeping. We turned the thermostat way down, and all four of us found the level of heat intolerable- despite an open window in our rooms. Location was perfect- we walked to Wonderful French restaurant, Champetre during snowfall- which was cozy and atmospheric. A fun memorable evening.

A perfect quick getaway

We had a great birthday getaway at the inn. Our room was lovely, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean with a huge bathroom. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Dinner at Stissing House was excellent and we picked up some great books at A New Leaf, the wonderful used book shop down the road. Couldn't have been better!

Our second time visiting the Inn. Such a cute and cozy spot, real hidden gem if you're looking for a weekend escape from the city. The inn keeper Patti is super helpful and always makes sure we have the best plans while in town! Rooms are clean with a homey feel and the beds are dreamy. We'll def be back for our now annual visit to Pine Plains.
