The design for the Pilot Cove cabin was nice and the views in the woods with a big balcony was great. The simple floor plan works fine for us (full kitchen, washer/dryer, one king bed), but the outdoor "yard" is too small for my service dog "business".

I had an amazing stay. The location is perfect for exploring pisgah. The cabin was exactly as pictured, no AI used. Everything was so clean I thought it might be new. Nice little place at the bottom called the hub. Excellent food trucks, coffee bar in the morning, craft beers on tap. I don’t write reviews often but this place deserves 6 out of 5 stars.

We loved staying at Pilot Cove. The big porch was so serene--we drank coffee and read books every morning while looking for the occasional white squirrel or woodpecker in the trees. The cabin had a nice layout for our family. We liked being a quick drive to Brevard and shopping and also being able to get right on to the Pisgah Highway to hike and see waterfalls every day. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Kitchen was lacking some staples like measuring spoons and cups but regardless it was great! The cabins are clean and beds are comfortable! My kids had a blast laying in the hammock and my husband and I enjoyed drinking our coffee while listening to the birds chirping in the trees. Beautiful views, close to TONS of hiking trails and close to downtown Brevard.

It is a beautiful home overlooking some forest areas, however, the wear and tear of renting it out shows that upkeep is lacking. Numerous things were either broken or nearly broken or glitchy. Obviously no one was around to fix things for this home. One other crazy thing were the beds...any movement elicited loud squeaking so much so that as you turned over in bed the noise would practically wake you up.

Beautiful place, a little tricky to find. We were at the top of the hill. Beautiful inside , the porch was great. The only problem is that the mini split heat pump system could not warm the space. It blew warm air, just not enough. That bed was cozy and warm.

We loved the layout of the room. It was very comfy, with a wonderful view off the balcony. The bed was super comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water. The room design lent itself to relaxing, reading, studying maps, eating and really anything we might want to do on vacation.

Everything you need in the 1 bedroom including kitchen ware, washer/dryer, bike cleaning station, shower amenities. It had a great deck w/ chairs & hammock that looks into woods, not much view. There is no staff, it’s self check in w/ coded door lock timed making it very easy. My only complaint were the pillows, pretty poor.

Lovely cabin in the trees with relaxing balcony patio. Convenient to Brevard and Mountain Song festival. I’d give 5 stars but there were a couple of housekeeping issues… some dirty dishes in dishwasher, hand soap in bathroom watered down or stretched with cheap soap. Even so… I’d totally recommend this Pilot Cove.

My husband and i stayed a couple of days while visiting the national parks. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to parks and a few restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a quiet, restful time. Lots of rain did not keep us from walking through quaint shops and eating well in nearby Brevard. Our unit had a kitchen with excellent appliances and clean, new pots and pans too. Bed was comfortable and bathroom perfect!
