"El hotel en general está bien y cumple para una estadía corta, aunque se nota que es una propiedad con varios años y que podría beneficiarse de una renovación en algunas áreas. El proceso de check-in fue bastante lento; tuvimos que esperar más de lo esperado a pesar de que había dos personas en recepción y únicamente una estaba atendiendo. En recepción ofrecen agua y aparentemente algún tipo de jugo como cortesía, aunque durante nuestra llegada el dispensador de jugo estaba vacío. Antes de llegar solicité específicamente una cama king y me confirmaron que estaría disponible, sin embargo al hacer el check-in nos asignaron una habitación con cama queen, lo cual fue un poco decepcionante. El aire acondicionado funciona, aunque no enfría completamente, especialmente si se busca una temperatura realmente fresca. También recomendaría instalar cortinas tipo blackout, ya que durante la noche entra bastante luz desde los pasillos, afectando el descanso. El desayuno fue correcto, aunque con muy pocas opciones disponibles. Otro punto a mejorar definitivamente es el internet, ya que fue bastante lento y en varios momentos dejó de funcionar. En general, la experiencia fue aceptable, pero hay varios detalles operativos y de mantenimiento que podrían mejorar significativamente la experiencia del huésped"

"We had a great stay here! Beautiful property. We had the Mountain Bungalow and it was really nice. The food was delicious and decently priced. We bought into a ziplining tour, the canopy/hanging bridges tour and 3 hr/3 waterfall hike - all great! Saw lots of monkeys and a toucan. Guides were great. Would stay here again!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at blue River. The rooms were huge and super clean. We really appreciated the coffee maker every morning. We did the zip line tour with blue River and it was great. The spa pools were very relaxing with tables and chairs at each of them. there were no surprises with the bookings."

"Our host had a driver pick us up at the airport. 75 for all four of us was reasonable. We were taken to a smaller house. We had rented the larger Paradise Linda. Eladio thought we would be ok there because no stairs. We said we would try and make it work. After the first night we thought it was to small and wanted the second bathroom. There was a man in the Paradise Linda the host had him move to the small house. After cleaning we moved. It was nice. Except the second bathroom was a shower outside with no shower head and a cloth for a curtain that wouldn't cover a body. Did have a usable toilet in a closet outside.The two excursions were not what we expected and over priced. Eladio does not have a vehicle that he can use for excursions. He borrowed or rented them. The second excursion my husband drove back because Eladio was not acting well. Bright spot was Eladios 16 year old son. We left 5 days early because we just couldn't do the excursion thing with him anymore. The pool was not clean until the 3rd day. It was nice for the one day we used it. Bird watching was the highlight at Paradise linda. If your looking for relaxation don't do tours. We started one 1 1/2 hours late on or second tour. Had to plead with him to get gas as we were in empty. Tour was not as it was promised. "
