Great stay! Central location to Catanzaro area (Tropea, Vibo, Soverato only 1hr drive distance). Car is needed if planning on leaving resort. Resort was very clean and well maintained (beautiful gardens). Food very good. It was very quiet as it was at end of the season so no nightly shows and upcoming closure was in full swing. Overall a great experience. Will definitely return!

Ho trascorso insieme alla mia famiglia 4 giorni dal 2 al 5 Giugno siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, partendo dall'ottima accoglienza, il villaggio è pulito e ben curato, il personale cordiale e disponibile. Merito al personale del ristorante in particolar modo al maître, persona gentile, garbata e molto professionale, si è messo subito a disposizione a qualsiasi nostra esigenza in particolare con mia figlia che è celiaca. Merito anche all'animazione, ragazzi simpatici e coinvolgenti, piscina, campi da tennis e di calcetto efficienti, insomma una vacanze, anche se per pochi giorni, fantastica. P.S.da ampliare le pietanze del cibo senza glutine per celiaci. Un ringraziamento affettuoso a tutto lo staff del Pizzo Calabro Resort. A presto

Nice hotel at beautiful sea side but poor quality

Our 3rd stay in 3 years!!! Location, beach & surroundings were as usual very nice, hotel & room condition were in a good condition. But compared to last years it was disappointing as Hotel Management changed! Many services are now missing at all or partially (e.g. luggage porter, dinner at beach restaurant, free soft drinks at beach bar, shuttle service); food lost in quality & variety and was not very Calabrian or even Italian (e.g. Gulasch!); many many employees from Eastern Europe, hardly speaking Italian, sometimes quite unkind, and also many many guests from Poland/Slovacchia, so it seemed to us making holidays in Eastern Europe not in Italy! :-/ IHR stands for "Italy Hotel & Resorts", a pity that there was very little of Italy, if not the beautiful sea & landscape!

schönes Hotel

Schönes Hotel mit sehr viel Animation in italienischer Sprache. Schöner Pool, gutes Essen, vor allem die Antipasti. Bei All inklusive soft sind Wasser und nicht alkoholische Getränke den ganzen Tag über erhältlich. Leider war das Meer einige Tage etwas verschmutzt und der grobe Sand - Kies ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

OTTIMO VILLAGGIO

Villaggio stupendo. VOI "Vera Ospitalita' Italiana" e il nome dice tutto. Ottima organizzazione a livello di pulizia, cortesia, e soprattutto il mangiare, dove non mancava mai nulla, dalla colazione alla cena. Ogni sera piatti diversi a partire dal buffet (abbondante all'estremo). Spiaggia pulita, con ombrelloni e sdraio sempre disponibili. Animazione perfetta e non invadente. Posizione buona, vicina all'aereoporto (14km)e alle varie location. Prezzo abbordabilissimo!!! ottimo!!!

bella vacanza per famiglie

Una bella struttura a 500 metri dalla spiaggia di ciottoli, se il mare è calmo l'acqua è cristallina e subito alta dopo i primi tre metri, perfetta per nuotare. La navetta dell'albergo va e viene ma se hai voglia di camminare puoi attraversare una bella pineta, tutto all'ombra. Buona la cucina, non troppo raffinata ma gradevole. Strepitosa l'animazione! Dal capo villaggio al responsabile sportivo, dai giochi in spiaggia all'intrattenimento serale, tutti ragazzi bravissimi, competenti e simpatici. Grande piscina contornata dal prato. Camera spaziosa e pulita, quelle più vicine all'ingresso e alla strada un po rumorose la notte. Due pecche: il poco controllo dei bagnini, sia in spiaggia che in piscina ed il bar poco fornito. Vacanza da ripetere!

Nur für Liebhaber von italienischem Familienleben

Wir waren vor 6 Jahren schon mal da, aber im Gegensatz zu damals hat sich das Publikum verändert. Niveau nicht wie damals, jetzt überwiegend Großfamilien und Gruppen nicht unbedingt aus der Mittel- oder Oberschicht um es mal vorsichtig auszudrücken. Geräuschpegel im Speisesaal vergleichbar mit Bierzelt auf dem Oktoberfest. Essen allerdings immer noch super - natürlich nur für den der italienische Küche liebt. Typisch deutsche Pauschaltouristen sind in diesem Hotel fehl am Platz
