"The room wasn't clean as I would expect from a 5* hotel. Missing toilet paper, soap and other facilities that other hotels offer. e.g.. bath gown, flip flops, shower gel. One morning when running the bath the water came out 'yellow/orange' colour. That was odd to see, it cleared out after 10 minutes. Some NOT all members of staff are friendly. WI-FI was intermittent, so if you are planning to have business meetings from the hotel, keep that in mind. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel and some members of staff were awesome at helping. But for a 5 * hotel it does need a lot more. Do not expect too much and you won't be disappointed."

Newly (literally within the last few weeks) renovated with an intelligent interior design, this hotel is well located in the heart of authentic Algiers, several minutes walk from the first/last metro station. The room contained a TV, wardrobe, desk and refrigerator alongside a balcony view of the sea and park. The breakfast was quite limited, with juice boxes, water and coffee (though importantly, it was real coffee from a professional machine) and some sweet items. The room was nice, though not ensuite (the bathrooms were metres away and only used by a limited number of other rooms. They were clean too and separate for make and female). The WiFi was strong, and the staff were all really genuinely nice. Would absolutely recommend 110%"

"I do not advise staying at the Ralf Hotel as the front desk staff were rude & unhelpful. The Hotel is well located but the air conditioning was not working & my room was uncomfortably hot across the two separate nights that I stayed in the hotel. I was told that somone from the Hotel staff would come to check the functioning of the air conditioning in my room, but no one ever did. Wi-Fi connectivity was so poor it was effectively unusable & instead, I relied on the data connectivity from my cell phone. "
