Small but Clean

The place is easy to find; rooms are simple, nothing fancy but clean. Bed was comfortable and they offered a breakfast but we didn't partake of it. We've stayed here before and have never been disappointed.

We were worried it would be loud because it's close to the highway but we were pleasantly pleased that when we closed the door to our room it was very quiet. It's a simple little place but it was very clean and quiet. We would recommend this motel.

Great stay! We wanted an affordable place to stay after having a full day at apple hill and this place delivered. It was clean, comfortable and straight forward. The check in is at the motel next to it but it was super easy and literally right next door. Would recommend to friends!

Woman who checked us in was very polite. She even called us the next day after check out because we left our house keys in the room. I think we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which was clean, and comfortable. We come every year mid october. We will be back.

We left instead of staying a second night

The office was closed for renovation so we had to check in at the property just up the road. The included breakfast was a stale, packaged pastry that I got at check-in. Booked a double queen room but the beds were just full size. Both my kids hurt their feet on the exposed tack strip on the edge of the threshold into the bathroom so we covered it with a towel. The shower curtain was on the ground, the shelf in the shower had been ripped off, showing exposed concrete, and the inside of the bathroom door was missing a bunch of paint (likely from a pet that was locked inside). We were planning to stay 2 nights but decided to just drive home after a long day of river rafting rather than stay a second night. I will say the grass area and garden are quite pretty.

First the owner I believe was awesome . Friendly curtious and engaging. Would stay again if in the area. Units need updating and looks to be what is happening. Inconvenient to have to check in at upper facility, however with the terrible fires and changes the owners have had to go through in this area I understand we need to give them support.

The handicap room #1 is not very accessible. No room around the bed for a wheelchair. No bars in the shower. Shower head is on the opposite wall of the bench seat. There is also no removable shower head to wash person. The water does not even reach the person. Our second room a/c did not work. They brought in a fan and said that was all they could do. The staff was kind but the actual rooms were not great. One plus is the pool is clean and beautiful.

The room was accidentally booked by a small child playing on my phone. I called to explain the situation to the hotel and they said there’s nothing they could do but I should contact the third party (hotels.com) and they should be able to help me out. I contacted hotels.com who then contacted the hotel again to ask for a refund and the hotel refused. I’ll remove this hotel from any future trips that’s for sure.
