FairBridge Inn & Suites Merced/Gateway to Yosemite

"It is comprised of single story bungalows. The property is small, but well maintained. The room was clean and everything was as expected. I did not have any interaction with the staff, except for getting checked in...and then we left the next morning before they were officially open. There also aren't any other amenities, like a pool, but we never seem to have time for that anyways. (They don't offer, and we weren't expecting, a complimentary breakfast, but nowadays, most of the hotels that claim to offer a "breakfast" just have some packaged biscuit and bad coffee. So, one is really better off, staying in a hotel that does not offer the "complimentary" breakfast, and just getting some yogurt, fruit & pasteries from the closest grocery store.) Everything in the room worked, including the HVAC, which is surprising since even in the big "name brand" hotels, their HVAC typically doesn't work very well, or only gives heat or cooling, but not both. The HVAC in our room provided blessed relief from the heat and humidity so typical of August in Merced. The only possible negative is that there is some freeway noise, just a whisper. Even so, I think this will be our next stay in Merced."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Easy check in, and check out. 5 star hospitality and service. And I perfect location near gas stations, food and market. We Will definitely be returning!!"

"Our room lacked body wash the container was Empty and the tissue box as well. We also had ants in the bathroom but all else was Great"
