"We love Aravanes, been here 3 times before and just came back for 3 days stay. Hosts are exceptional. We always feel at home. They run an authentic restaurant with Greek food and veggies from their own garden. Most rooms have amazing view of Amari Valley."
Villa Samitos: elegance and tradition in undiscovered Crete

"If you get a chance to stay at this vrbo, jump at it. The host was exceptionally receptive and communicative. the place itself was immaculately clean. The beds were comfy, the water pressure in the shower was strong and the water was hot. The location was ideal as it's in the center of the island of crete. You definitely need a car on this island. we can't say enough good about the host Manolis, and Rumi, who cooked a meal for us. It was absolutely delicious. The place was exceptionally well stocked, and as well, was so very comfortable. There were three different patios, three or four different sitting areas, large kitchen ans dining area. The place was huge. There were plenty of amenities local to the area. We often drove to the little grocery store 10 or 15 minutes away, plus we went to four or five different tavernas a 10 or 15 minute drive. We absolutely loved this place. We were sad to leave!"

La communication avec Catherine excellente. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette belle région de rethymnon et recommandons ce logement"

"Rooms were large and clean. The staff were great and did all they could to make our stay memorable. The pool was great and the food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very well done. The only caveat to that was the Tomatini restaurant which to our surprise was a little disappointing. This part of the island flies under the radar and is an absolute gem."

"Lovely property, tastefully decorated ànd furnished, in a stunning, albeit remote, location. You sense the family history. The owner sent a plethora of information before our arrival and met us there on arrival. Would highly recommend this property for those who wish to escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy the stunning scenery or sit by the pool and soak on the views all the added bonus of Rumy to cook if you wish! Thank you"
