"The hotel location is fantastic, very peaceful, with well kept and beautiful grounds. Food is excellent, staff and service equally so. Whilst the rooms are basic ours was very clean and the swim up pool, whilst shared with two other rooms, felt private. We had a wonderful ten days all inclusive, which was excellent value. We'd 100% return! Not a place to go if you're bothered about watching television 🙂"

"Comfy, clean, spacious room with kitchenette, lovely clean bathroom and a balcony. The apartments are located behind the main drag so are nice and quiet. Nobody at reception when we arrived and room not ready so we had to busy ourselves elsewhere for a few hours. "We love Aravanes, been here 3 times before and just came back for 3 days stay. Hosts are exceptional. We always feel at home. They run an authentic restaurant with Greek food and veggies from their own garden. Most rooms have amazing view of Amari Valley."

"If you get a chance to stay at this vrbo, jump at it. The host was exceptionally receptive and communicative. the place itself was immaculately clean. The beds were comfy, the water pressure in the shower was strong and the water was hot. The location was ideal as it's in the center of the island of crete. You definitely need a car on this island. we can't say enough good about the host Manolis, and Rumi, who cooked a meal for us. It was absolutely delicious. The place was exceptionally well stocked, and as well, was so very comfortable. There were three different patios, three or four different sitting areas, large kitchen ans dining area. The place was huge. There were plenty of amenities local to the area. We often drove to the little grocery store 10 or 15 minutes away, plus we went to four or five different tavernas a 10 or 15 minute drive. We absolutely loved this place. We were sad to leave!"

The owner sent a plethora of information before our arrival and met us there on arrival. Would highly recommend this property for those who wish to escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy the stunning scenery or sit by the pool and soak on the views all the added bonus of Rumy to cook if you wish!
