"Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the room had a strong sewage/drain smell. I immediately reported this to reception and requested a room change, but this was refused. Instead, I was told that a cleaner would attend the room. The cleaner was friendly and professional and changed the bedding in front of us, but she was unable to address the underlying issue. A chemical product was used which appeared to mask the sewage smell rather than resolve it. The air-conditioning was also ineffective at cooling the room and dust/debris fell from the unit onto the bed, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. In addition, there were visible maintenance issues in the room and bathroom, including signs of damp/mould and damaged skirting boards. What disappointed me most was the response when I first reported the problem. Rather than being offered an alternative room, my concerns were initially dismissed and I was left dealing with room issues from the very start of the stay. This negatively affected my enjoyment of the holiday. The location was good and the cleaner who attended the room was polite and helpful, but the overall standard of the room and the handling of the complaint were not what I would expect."

We have stayed at many 5 star hotels and the staff at this hotel were genuinely happy to help and always greeting you with warmth and a smile. We stayed with a 2 year old and their help and attention was greatly appreciated."

"Our first trip to Valencia was wonderful. The location was away from tourists yet close to neighborhood eateries, with the market steps from the flat. Enrique was our warm point of contact and Julia was our “guide” to access the flat and answer questions. They are honest and kind, willing to go beyond the normal hostessing. We left a baggie with currency and private card information at the flat and Julia contacted us with a photo of items. That’s honesty. She offered to mail it to our home address. Above and beyond hostessing I’d say."

"Lovely apartment right on the beach with a patio - partially covered - with comfortable table and chair settings - a perfect place to enjoy breakfast and for an evening glass of wine! Lacking a couple amenities, e.g., shampoo, conditioner, shower gel; salt/pepper; and I recommend bringing your own beach towel. But otherwise no complaints at all and the customer service was excellent. We highly recommend!"
