Great hotel overall. The amenities were great; there is a pool, common kitchen with gas stovetop, common eating area, lounge chairs, mini fridge in room and places to relax. There was a hole in our door which let in some insects and ants. The wifi was patchy in out room, but that could have been ...

Amazing location for a family vacation. We loved every minute from the private pool, access to the estuary, walk to the local eateries and beach. A genuinely fun time! To top it off the managed was highly communicative and help all through our stay. Every need was met.

This house is awesome and truly feels like it's in the jungle on the beach! We stayed for 4 days for a group of 10 and we all felt very comfortable. Playa grande is a tiny town with maybe 5 places to eat. It’s 40 min to Tamarindo unless you walk down the beach for 10 min to a water taxi- then walk on the other side to the main strip. It’s just too hot to do all that.
Very unique beach with all the great surfing accomodations. The ocean is fantastic with beautieful waves. White sand.
We enjoyed a fabulous turtle tour!
Bring nothing but comfy shoes, particularly ones you can spray off like plastic flip flops or water resistant shoes. We went during the dry season and it was very dusty so we had to spray down our shoes every day.
Go to El Huerto Pizzeria, the best pizza in Guanacaste! Highly recommend it!
