"The property had a strong cleaning solution odor to cover up the smell of smoke and animals. The room had a musty, stale smell to it. There were numerous ants everywhere in the rooms. Additionally, the parking spot for our room was completely unreasonable as you could not park a normal size car and open the door. It said that it had pool access, but there was no pool access. There was no AC either. The one bedroom exterior access door could not be locked shut. We messaged the owner about the ants as well as the pool access and never heard anything back. We had to call to get the Wi-Fi information because it wasn’t provided on any paperwork. The views were beautiful, and the area was beautiful, and the exterior deck was amazing to eat at. We would not stay here or with this company again in the future."

"We after arriving late at night & weary we woke up to a beautiful view. The apartment was spotless, the area so peaceful. We had a problem with a blocked shower tray, we reported on the Botchat & to our suprise a plumber was there within 15 minutes and had it fixed in no time. The only thing that could have improved our stay due to late arrival maybe a small welcome pack.We very much enjoyed our 8 days & will be booking again soon."

"All staff were friendly and approachable to meet your every wish. A family oriented hotel with many children running around which for some of us could be a nuisance. But overall something for everyone."

"Could be great with some policy changes. Room was totally fine (but paper thin walls), buffet totally fine (though vegetarians are basically stuck with the salad bar every meal), location was nice, pools are beautiful when actually open. The main issue with this place is that they put hideous brown fencing around the pools whenever they're not open, and they don't open until 10am even in summer (by which time kids will have been up about 3hrs), which means you're sat at breakfast looking out onto what looks like an ugly construction site. They're also a bit lazy and on cool days when they think not many people will want to swim, they only remove a couple of the fences at the pool steps, leaving an eyesore all day! We understood the safety reasons for the fences, but they need to be removed at sunrise every day without fail and left off until sunset, with the lifeguard hours matched accordingly. It really ruins the experience of the hotel and could be fixed so easily. Evening entertainment is low-budget karaoke, pub quiz, magic show etc. The one and only bar has 25 tables for about 150 rooms so get there early as most people don't fit and had to leave, either heading into Nerja or spending the evenings in the room. Overall, currently feels like a cheap and cheerful 2 or 3-star hotel, but could so easily be much better! Fix the fencing times, add hot vegetarian options at the buffet, and create an alternative evening bar / cafe area. Not sure if we'll ever go back. "

"The indoor pool was great. We enjoyed our daily swim. The access to the beach was wonderful and walks to local cafes and restaurants so nice. Phil was a great host and made our stay so comfortable "

"Helpful host & reception. The apartment was superb, clean with all the amenities you needed if you were preparing a meal. On this piint, a welcome pack could be offered at a supplement. On arrival most will not know where to shop so coffee/tea, bread/butter, simple pack of ham or cheese, milk & sugar. Would be well received. Also the apartment didn’t have salt pepper etc, maybe little sachets could be offered in the welcome pack. We totally enjoyed our stay & would go back. "

"We stayed at Casa Siloam (10 nights September 2025).On arrival we found the property without difficulty but we were a bit disappointed with the property from the get go. There was a musty smell throughout which was improved by opening the doors to allow fresh air into the property and it wasn’t as clean as we would have expected (perhaps our standards are unreasonably high), and some cleaning of areas of the kitchen was necessary. The entire property is built onto the side of the hill so it is necessary to go down stairs to access the upper floor of the property and down again to access the bedrooms and shower room. There was a good shower in the property but when we used it the water flowed onto the shower room floor and out into the hallway. We had to use the towels to mop up the water and when we tried to contact the agent there were issues getting through to them. Eventually after emailing the agent we were contacted by the property owner, with whom we addressed our issues with the shower and that there was no change of bedding/ extra towels despite our stay being for 10 nights. Two days later the owner of the property attended, made a repair to the shower and provided additional linen and towels. Thereafter our stay went fairly smoothly.Yes, we had some issues but they were dealt with quickly by the owner, who was very attentive. In conclusion, the location was good as a base for our travels, the pool was lovely and the views from the terrace were spectacular."

"Amazing view right on beach. Hmmmm only advice I could give them, might be to provide soap, shampoo…and perhaps a beach umbrella…they had 2 beach chairs and some treats at apt….was appreciated, also a bit of coffee beans etc…would be helpful for first day. "

"Well equipped apartment but a little tired. Patio doors didn’t lock, boiler broke and under sofa/beds/tops of doorframes very dusty. Sheets didn’t fit the bed so came off while you were sleeping.However, the Olee staff were very helpful with any enquiries and sent someone in minutes to fix the boiler!"
