"The hotel was just off the main plaza making it really handy for everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, although they didn't have much English. The hotel was comfy and clean with good air con in my spacious room and powerful water pressure for the shower.
During my stay there was construction work going on next door, so if you book a room with an inside view, you might want to prepare for a noisy start each work day, about 8am.
I didn't eat at the hotel, but other guests spoke highly of the breakfast and lunch.
Check in was easy, and the WhatsApp guest service was very quick and helpful.
My only real disappointment was the pool; it was tiny, just under a meter deep and not suitable for swimming, you were better cooling and rinsing off in the poolside shower. And if you are uncomfortable with public nudity, you may want to opt out at busy times.
The gym, albeit small, had air con, a good set of free weights, a bench, mats and a couple of CV machines, which suited my needs really well.
One afternoon there was some disruption from some work being done poolside, I went back to my room until it was over, but when I returned, I was greeted with a free drink, which was a really welcome gesture."
