"Everything was lovely until we checked out..front desk lady was just shy if rude when we simply asked for a receipt..she kept looking at her computer and while doing so, explained that because we booked our stay through a third party,we wouldn't get a receipt ..this left us feeling very uneasy..the polite thing to do,in my opinion , was to say”I’ll be with you in a moment” then leave her computer and speak to us face to face and explain to us fully why we wouldn’t be getting a receipt..she could see we were concerned about this..I took the time to call the hotel manager when we returned home explaining the above situation..we stayed at this hotel last year..loved it and so chose to stay again..there are many hotels to choose from..sadly,due to this one person,we’ll think twice about starting here again"

"We didn’t know what to expect when staying at King’s College for our trip to Halifax but we were pleasantly surprised. The double room spaces are quite large, the price is affordable, and the staff are generous and work hard to make the stay enjoyable for you. Would definitely stay again!"

"Everything was Unique about Moxys. The whole concept of the hotel is unique. The rooms are smaller than normal but satisfactorily, sufficient. No waste. It's a hotel that you feel like staying inside and enjoying all the amenities that they provide. We enjoyed watching Canada wine a FIFA game with several other Canadian cheering fans. An absolute beautiful patio and the food was delicious. I had very little sleep however because of the loud AC in the room. It will be our hotel of choice in the future."

"room 601 was an amazing corner suite with views of the casino and waterfront. walkable hotel to halifax boardwalk, casino, citadel and other great historic halifax attractions. parking available for $30/night in a parking garage next to the hotel. the pool however did not have a shower/washroom or a hot tub but great clean water."
