Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls

"The Oakes Hotel overlooking the Falls was an economical choice given the close proximity this hotel is to the Falls, Clifton Hill and other local tourist attractions. While this hotel is clean, it is very dated, therefore needs renovating. That said, the facility itself, location, price and outstanding friendliness of the staff make this a good choice for travellers with families who want to be as local as possible to the attractions of the Niagara Falls tourist area. While very common everywhere in Niagara Falls, the only billing aspect that annoyed me were the extra four extra charges, not including government taxes and parking, that came to about $50 per day on the bill, one of them duplicated in the bill then again at the bottom of it. Notwithstanding my extra billing rant, I do recommend the Oakes Hotel overlooking the Falls my aforementioned positive comments."

"Our stay at Tower Hotel was an excellent experience. The hotel is so conveniently located near attractions, restaurants and transportation. Though parking is not available is not available on site, the off site parking and shuttle was easy. Our room had a gorgeous view! It was comfortable, clean, attractive and well-appointed. The elevators were quick and there were a few of them, so even when we rode them close to mealtimes and checkout, we never had to jam in with lots of others. All staff that we interacted with were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We loved our stay at The Tower Hotel!"

"The rooms was lovely with a great view of the Niagara Falls! Clean rooms, great staff and really worth the experience!!! The amenities if you’re not a Marriott reward member you are not provided internet and will have to pay for make sure you’re a reward member. They have like a train that will take you back and forth to the Falls for a cost so be prepared for that $2CAD one way of $4CAD two way. Wear comfortable walking shoes as everything is within walking distance except for Clifton Hills we uber there for reasonable price!"

"The room was clean upon arrival; the beds were not made the next day, and the coffee was not refilled. Had a conversation with the reception desk, and all was perfect for the rest of our stay. This was the 3rd time coming to Americana; the grandkids loved it, and so did we."
