"Really pleased with our stay. Room was perfect and very clean. Bed comfortable and good bedding. Kettle provided and water available. Shower good. Outdoor pool very clean. Breakfast . With choices Good value at €10 . Staff very friendly and helpful Good location . In between station and old town. 5 minute walk either way. Would definitely stay again"

"Our stay here was a delight! The house, garden and rooms are beautifully decorated with the right balance of élégant French villa and modern chic. The pool is clean and refreshing and there was always a sunbed free. There's a also hot tub (but it was too hot during our stay) and poolside shower and toilet. The hosts will bring you a nice refreshing drink as you relax. In fact, the owners Estelle and Pascale made our stay. They arranged our taxis to and from the airport, electric bike hire, recommended restaurants, and generally went out of their way to make everybody's stay special. They clearly work very hard to keep the property impeccable and serve up a delicious (and slightly different) breakfast every morning. We've stayed in some great places and Le Clos D'Argenson is up there with the very best of them."

"Location excellent - 10 minute walk to all the towns attractions. Property well equipped with good window light. Well provisioned with sockets and mirrors. Comfortable beds. Good quality kitchen equipment. Garden nice with chairs and loungers. Property very clean. Complex recycling system but that is nothing to do with the host. Really enjoyed our stay"

"If anything the photos don't do the gite justice. It's lovely. The location is great - it's a short walk to the centre of Bergerac, but the street is very quiet and parking is very easy. It's far enough out of town that getting out and about is easy too. We used the back gate to walk into town along the Dordogne which runs past the end of the garden. We had a really lovely, relaxing week. The hosts were great - communication was excellent - helped that one of us speaks good French. Would definitely recommend!"

"The house is simply beautiful, everything you could wish for is there and it was spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect, quiet with the lovely garden and pool not overlooked but a short ten minute walk to the many restaurants and shops in Bergarac. It really is a perfect place to stay. "
