Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt waterā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø) pool! I would (and already have) recommend it to a friend. The hotel is in a great area of Nea Makri, with nice shops, a beautiful port and lively...

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel two nights. We have stayed here before and love the location - in the upscale town of Kifisea (located north of Athens on the train line). The pool and health club are wonderful and the included breakfast is tasty and plentiful. If you are interested in a quiet oasis close to Athens, this is your hotel. You can walk to shops, cafes, train station, etc.

Pleasantly surprised. Nikolas was excellent. Check in and check out was easy. They let us store our luggage until the afternoon since our flight was at night. They even called a taxi for us. Area could be a little noisy at night. Would consider staying here again.

We loved this hotel. From the second we arrived the service was excellent. They allowed us an early check in and we stayed in the wellness suite. The rooftop pool and restaurant were amazing-better than pictured with spectacular views. The breakfast buffet which was included in our price was incredible. Our room was very clean as was the entire property.

Oh my goodness... Talk about finding a needle in a haystack, this was it! What a WONDERFUL property, AMAZING people (Artemis and Kos), GREAT breakfast, PERFECT area for dining, shopping, tourism, & a SHOWER to stay in for as long as you can.
I am so thankful for finding this place. They took care of us, arranged transportation for us, held our luggage for us, greeted us like we were friends, and seemed to genuinely care about our comfort and welcome in Athens.
