"We had a spectacular time at Akrotiri Hotel. The hospitality was above and beyond. Breakfast included every morning and high quality. Lena and her husband were incredibly welcoming. The room was very clean and well maintained. The tile in the bathroom was beautiful and the shower itself was wonderful. Now for the view. We were told we would have a panoramic view and we couldn’t have had anything more beautiful to wake up to. The terrazzo was also well maintained and enjoyable to sit on in the mornings. We had a drying rack for clothing which was helpful. The bus is very close to the hotel and was convenient to get on and off of. Lena’s husband offered to drive us to town a few times which was extremely generous. Again, above and beyond hospitality. When they say arrive as a guest, leave as a friend, they mean it. When I have the chance to return, we will absolutely be staying at Hotel Akrotiri."

"The location is very good and the staff are very helpful to arrange tours such as to samaria gorge and wine/cheese tours. The hot tub on the balcony was a hidden gem i was not expecting to enjoy as much as i did. The pool is bookable and is also very nice to use."

"Ten out of ten! Villa Mariposa was truly heavenly. We absolutely loved everything, from the manicured landscaping to the delicious homemade goodies provided by Diana and Stratos’ mother. The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful and tucked away from the crowds, yet incredibly convenient. The villa felt just like a home away from home, and Diana and her mother treated us like family. They even went above and beyond to recover a forgotten "night-night" blanket for my daughter! If you stay here, definitely try to arrange a breakfast prepared by Katerina—it was absolutely fabulous! We cannot recommend this place enough."

"The staff were absolutely amazing, very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is at the top of a hill and a little far out from the town, however there is a shuttle service from the hotel from early morning till late every 30 mins to take you into town. The town offers some amazing restaurants with a view and if you don’t mind a stroll - some of the fish restaurants by the harbour were superb! The restaurant in the hotel is lovely too for days you don’t want to venture out! The hotel itself is quiet and the pool is a really good size - again with some beautiful sea views . We would definitely stay here again!"
