Set at the top of a country lane overlooking the sea, the picturesque views from this charming farm stay are to be relished. A converted farm building, it has been renovated and modernised, whilst keeping lots of character throughout.

On the ground floor there’s a well-equipped kitchen and living room boasting exposed stone walls, woodblock flooring and a cosy wood burner, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and selection of games! Step up to the dining area at the rear of the living room and there’s a large dining table and a door out to the garden.

On the first floor you’ll find three bedrooms and a bathroom with cubicle shower and a separate bath. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable kingsize bed and ample storage. Bedroom two has two single beds that can be joined to make a king. The third bedroom has two zip and link single beds (which can be joined to make a super kingsize bed) and an additional single bed with a pull-out single bed (for flexible sleeping for children). Bwlch Farm Lodge is located on a working farm and is adjacent to the owner’s home, you are welcome to bring two pets along and you’re likely to see other furry friends at the farm!

Bwlch Farm Lodge sits just outside of Cwmavon, Port Talbot. Nestled between the seaside town of Port Talbot and Afan Forest Park, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Afan Forest Park offers over 130 miles of mountain bike trails as well as a visitors’ centre, shop, and café. The village of Cwmavon is less than 2 miles away and has eateries, takeaways, and shops for essentials. A little further and you’ll reach the seaside town of Port Talbot and Aberavon beach. For family fun days out there are plenty of options including Go Ape, Zip World and Margam Country Park. South Wales boasts some impressive coastline as well as countryside, so why not head to the Gower to see the famous beaches and seaside towns, or further inland to the hills and waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons.
