Hyatt Regency Savannah

Hyatt Regency Savannah

8/10 Good
"Wonderful staff! They were very helpful and friendly. The hotel location is terrific! Rooms were ok. The beds were very comfortable, but the decor was dated and the bathroom was a little sketchy. Looked like they answer every concern with another layer of paint. Nevertheless, the rest of the experience was pretty good over all."

"Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning with so many choices like waffles, yogurt, fresh cut fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits with gravy, bagels, the list hours on and on. Parking was easy and very close to the hotel. This place has location, location, location. Near River Street and all of it's happenings and within walking distance of so many other things. This is our 5th time staying here."

The DeSoto

The DeSoto

10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed here several times before because the location is ideal right in the middle of the historic district. This time we were very disappointed that the pool and work out room were closed for renovations, but the front desk staff took good care of us. The staff member at the coffee bar in the lobby was excellent. I'm kinda a coffee snob so usually I walk one block down to the Coffee Roasters down the street but this time I had coffee at the hotel and it was pretty good"

Planters Inn on Reynolds Square

Planters Inn on Reynolds Square

10/10 Excellent
"First time to Savannah and so glad we stayed at the Planters Inn. The daily wine and cheese, with awesome pianist, were a nice touch. Lots of folks say this place is haunted and I will add that we did have unusual activity each night and in the morning: the hollow sound of small footsteps running around above us, even though no children were staying at the hotel. Made it memorable and something to talk about with another couple over a glass of wine, anyway!"
