"Didn’t like the location on top of a significant hill. We are an elderly couple and getting downtown was not easy and getting back was extremely difficult without transport. Maybe the hotel should consider some sort of transportation being made available to those who may need it to get down to the town for an evening meal, for example"

"This was our 7th visit to Penventon Hotel. As always we had a very warm welcome from all the Staff. They all go above and beyond to make our stay fantastic from the Manager Alex to Reece Amyanf Josh in the restaurant . Wes and Rob in the Bar. The breakfast ladies to Danni in the spa and all the other ladies in the spa. It always feels like home from home. Truly exceptional and outstanding Staff and expiernce Kam & Jac"

Beach Cottage with amazing beach and sea views

"The location was perfect. However the views in the listing were inaccurate. We could not see the ocean from the back seating area as the hedge was overgrown. The table was not in great shape. Inside the beanbags provided in the living room were filthy as were the curtains and they were also ripped. The bathrooms were dimly lit and only 2 bedrooms had any hanging space. We still had a great family holiday, but the overall feeling of the property was tired and worn. Some TLC would go a long way."
