The room was clean. I was here during Claudia storm. The service was very personal. The breakfast was immaculate, and well prepared in the morning. Wonderful boardwalk view in the dining area. Lots of good restaurants all around. I will be staying here again and again whenever I am in Portimao.

I loved the decor and space of the apartment, large comfy beds with premium mattresses! Aircon in all rooms, wonderful balcony, great kitchen just no oven. Only problem was the shower tray often filled up but I presume the drain just needed cleaning! It was a wonderful stay and the hosts were so kind and very helpful. Will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely, lovely people - so obliging and helpful - and the rooms and facilities were exceptionally comfortable and spotless. The hotel is very well placed for transport links (but in particular), boat tours and for eating out.

Helpful staff

A very cute hotel, right next to the river and a vibrant plaza where you can watch people with a coffee or ice cream. The staff was exceptional- helping out when we needed, even in the middle of the night! Easy walk to the beach (under 2 miles).

We chose this cute guest house at the last minute and could not have been happier!! We had the “blue” room, which was very large, high ceilings and a small balcony facing the street. The room was very clean. Breakfast was perfect too. The area around the hotel is very walkable, with great restaurants and the river walk. I highly recommend this guest house.

Wonderful place in the center of Portimao

We loved this Guest House so much we extended our stay from one night to three! Super friendly staff, very clean and beautiful place, centrally located for a nice walk on the riverfront. Plenty of restaurants and shops walkable area. Also loved the breakfast. Only wish I could have used the pool but it was November so a little too chilly for that.

I had a fabulous stay! The guest house is conveniently located off A22 in Portomao. I stayed in the top floor apartment which has a stunning view of the harbor. The room was extra spacious and the towels were replaced/bed made daily and the staff was very courteous. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in Portimao. The only caveat is that there are quite a bit of stairs once you enter the building, so take note if you're physically limited.

A great hotel off season (early December), staff were fantastic, nice breakfast everyday and the hotel was clean and modern. Price of just EUR50 per night B&B for 2 adults is unbeatable....... We stayed in one of the upstairs roof rooms and could hear a little traffic noise, whilst did not bother us might do for people with sensitive hearing. I would highly recommend this hotel and if the traffic noise is an issue select one of the lower level rooms which we know are quiet as we had a friend stay in one of those rooms.

Property is very clean and spacious - the breakfast is basic but good. As it is an nice old house, it is get’s noisy when there is music outside or people walking around the guesthouse. Our room had basically no window.

The location is great and the decoration of the apartment really nice. But the cleaning was not so good. We found two dead cockroach in the bedroom and we don't know what happened but apparently someone try to get into the property through the restaurant located down the apartment. The police came early in the morning while we were sleeping because the roof of the restaurant was damaged.

A beautiful 2 bedroom (very comfortable beds), 1 bath, kitchen, living/dining room. Loved that there's a washing machine and a lovely balcony to dry the washing or to sit and enjoy each other's company over morning coffee or a cold beer in the eveninng. Loved the closeness to very good restaurants and walking the river. Parking right out the door which must be paid for or one gets ticketed . . . We were not told and therefore did not realize we needed to pay . . . Coming from another country we didn't realize what was needed The only negative was that the drains in both the shower and bathroom sink drain very slowly . . . In fact, the shower stopped draining at all!! No doubt brought on by hair clogs in peatraps for a very long time. The sink drain needs a good cleaning as it smells from the unattended clog. Brought this to the attention of management, so hoping for the next guests the plumbing is working properly.
