I was not familiar with hotel neighborhood, booked it couple of hours before I came to Portland for overnight stay while road tripping PNW. it’s located in pretty ghetto neighborhood. Front desk staff was supper nice. Room was clean but linen had stains on them, smoke detector was off the wall, shower wasn’t working which I was told ahead, there was no hot when I turned faucet. Next door ppl were loud, knocking on my door at 1 am, slamming in their door loud. Barely able to sleep, checked out early in the morning. It’s what you get for prove you pay.
I love this place. I have stayed here several times, and every time, I’ve had a great experience. The hot water is reliable, the rooms are super clean, and honestly, for the price, you can’t beat the value.
I’ve also stayed at the Hyatt, which costs about four times as much, and the rooms were very similar. I will definitely be staying at Evergreen more often — the price and quality can’t be matched.
The front desk staff are friendly and professional; I’ve never had an issue. Also, the receptionist at the front is gorgeous, which is a nice bonus!
No staff was available for checkin. After ringing the bell for 30 minutes standing out in the cold I left to find another hotel.

The lady who checked us in was professional and nice. However the outside of the property is quite run down and seemed unsafe though the lady assured us that they had CC TV cameras all around. The shower area was dirty (full of hair from previous guests), towels had stains, only 2 bath towels for 3 people. We asked for extra bath towel and it was the size of the hand towel. There is no place in the bathroom to keep the soap or anything else. We checked out early due to early flights (3:30 am checkout) and there were people who were drinking in the parking. One person was loiterning around talking on phone. Will not stay in this property again.
Really dirty and smelled funny. Half the stuffed in the room didn't work and it looked/felt like a prison. One and done for me.
I did like how close it was to the airport.
Had to ring the bell around 8 times and still no answer so I called them and someone finally came out so I could check into my room. The check in person did not tell us where our room was we had to figure it out ourselves.
The room was falling apart, the sink faucet was loose, the floor was dirty, the tub seemed it was never cleaned. People were up all night, quiet time started about 5am.
The room smelt like straight bleach. There were prostitutes and drug addicts in the hallway. All night, fighting and applying their trade. The front desk clerk was rude.I had to move to 3 different rooms because none of the t v's worked.Th

Had to put down an additional "security deposit". TV did not work. People were loitering around security entrance. Could not check out at 6 am, because no one responded to buzzer. Had to wait until later. Would not recommend this establishment.
The most horrific and disgusting accommodations I’ve ever seen.
I walked out immediately upon arrival. The smell in the halls and room was horrendous. There was women’s fingernails, hair, toe jam etc on the floors, in the bed etc. I was solicited by a prostitute on my way out! Inside the building!
Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever seen.
I stay at this Hotel a lot and Everytime I have an amazing experience very clean newly remodeled excellent for the price ... definitely can't beat the price ...when I am in the room it fills like I am at the Hilton
