The Space:

Recently remodeled and tastefully furnished in true Portland fashion, this apartment exudes unique charm while preserving the original features and woodwork from its century-old building.



The cozy and relaxed living room is flooded with natural light from new windows, featuring a comfy couch perfect for kicking back. Rainy days are ideal for cuddling up and watching movies on the TV using your own streaming accounts. Bedroom TVs offer another spot to unwind.



Portland boasts one of the best “Foodie” scenes in the country, but for nights when you prefer to dine in, the fully equipped kitchen with cooking appliances and a spacious island provides ample space to prepare a world-class meal. Plus, there’s a Whole Foods just a few blocks away.



After a day of walking, shopping, and eating, you’ll love coming home to the comfy queen-size beds in each bedroom. Each room has its own mini-split A/C and heat pump unit, and all running units must use the same heating or cooling mode.

The Neighborhood:

You're right off NE 28th Avenue - one of Portland's best restaurant rows - with Laurelhurst Park and its tree-lined residential streets just a few blocks south. It's a neighborhood where you can walk to a James Beard-worthy dinner, grab world-class tortas, and enjoy a relaxed evening back home.



Laurelhurst Market is the anchor - a steakhouse and in-house butcher shop that's been a longtime Portland favorite since 2009. Go for dinner (the butcher-cut steaks are outstanding) or stop by the counter during the day for house-cured sandwiches and charcuterie. Güero is our favorite torta spot in the city - try the carnitas torta or their hamburguesa, which Portland Monthly featured in January 2026. Montelupo is a proper Italian market and restaurant with pasta and provisions.



For a casual night, Big's Chicken does Alabama-style fried chicken from the same team behind Laurelhurst Market - the smoked whole bird and fried mac & cheese bites are legit. Crema Coffee + Bakery is a short walk for morning coffee and some of the best house-baked pastries in Portland.

Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — Laurelhurst is one of NE Portland's most walkable neighborhoods. A few blocks to NE 28th Avenue for restaurants, cafes, and shops, with Laurelhurst Park a short walk south.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 19 (Glisan/Canyon Rd) runs right past the property along NE Glisan, with connections to downtown and across the city.



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Plan a cycling route that suits your trip.



🚗 Driving — Free street parking is available where signs permit, subject to availability. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup times vary.



✈️ Airport — Plan your PDX drive around current traffic.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
