Very good luxury hotel. Modern and well equipped rooms, let down by very poor wifi. Good staff that were helpful and friendly. Lack of restaurant options is not ideal. Location although in the city is a bit far from most of the action in the city.

Everything about this stay was perfect the friendly, helpful staff, room was excellent and the whole hotel was super clean. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of hot and cold food. We ate in both the bar and the restaurant and the food was fantastic in both. I would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Porto.

Altis Porto Hotel was the most incredible stay! The staff were amazing, so helpful, kind, courteous, friendly. Daniela helped me so much with suggestions around the city, and booked a dinner reservation for me at a traditional Portuguese restaurant. The amenities were unreal with a Turkish bath, like a steam room, the sauna, indoor pool, hot tub, and rooftop pool and bar. I loved staying here. It was also a great stay for a single traveler. I felt so safe. Thank you so much!!

The staff is attentive and courteous. The breakfast staff especially, Ines and Catia. Their patience, pleasant demeanor, and friendliness made our stay memorable. Outdoor pool. Amazing. Lovely views. Indoor pool was very relaxing. Spa treatments were a good price for what was provided. Staff were all lovely. Spoke brilliant English (Shout out to the beauty therapist whose English was good enough to discuss my recent operation and what treatments I was or wasn't allowed to have). One slight hiccup - the tap in our room broke, but was repaired by the receptionist and then consolidated by a workman the following day. Location wise, it was much quieter than the centre of Porto where there are loads of roadworks, and not far to walk to the centre. Love Porto and will definitely be going back to this hotel

It was disappointing that the spa was closed for maintenance - whilst understandabe we had chosen this hotel for the spa only to find, after booking, that it would be closed. That said it was a brilliant base for our city break - the staff were friendly, efficient and very thoughtful.

This was such a beautiful stay! 10/10 would recommend. The staff were super friendly and even gave me a free upgrade to a riverfront view. Breakfast buffet was such a pretty spread every morning.
