Quite an amazing place for a stay in the heart of Porto. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. From the latter, I can say that water does not get wasted as in other places where the water runs cold for a long time before you can have a hot shower. The food is also well presented and delicious. The staff and Laura are very helpful and kind. I wish that I could have stayed longer.

Kleine nett eingerichtete Zimmer mitten im Zentrum. Ideal für einen kurzen Städtetripp. Bei längerem Aufenthalt würde ich die größeren Zimmer (seperates Bad) nehmen. Freundliche Gastgeber - alles perfekt!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und das Umfeld war daher etwas laut (vor allem in der Nacht). Alles in Allem hat sie uns trotzdem sehr gut gefallen.

La ubicación de Linha22 es fantástica. La habitación tiene el tamaño perfecto para ir a descansar y dormir y las vistas son increíbles. El personal es muy atento y muy simpático. Además, cuenta con una sala donde puedes llevarte tu comida. El único aspecto menos positivo es la cantidad de escaleras que hay que subir para llegar al cuarto, sobre todo si la habitación está en el último piso. Sin embargo, sin duda alguna recomendamos esta GuestHouse y repetiremos si volvemos a Porto.

Inaccurate listing - annexe apartments not noted

The hotels.com listing is not accurate. I booked a room with a king-sized bed with a city room. Property listed as "1 tower". The guest house is a coffee shop with rooms. Staff friendly. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but we paid in full. We went into the city for a couple of hours. The room was in an annexe across the back street, with a bar & restaurant area in the floors below. The access door to the annexe lock arrangements would not be legal in UK (there was a sign stating don't lock from outside as the door couldn't be unlocked from inside). We were worried about the consequences of a fire in the annexe.. Manager understood & gave refund but either the property or hotels.com need to take responsibility for the listing which is misleading (though the rooms above the coffee shop might be nice).

Beautiful and quirky guesthouse which I'd highly recommend. Super central you really don't need any transport to get around - everything is in walking distance. Excellent breakfast and very kind and helpful staff. However, bring an eye mask for sleeping if you're on the top floor as there is a skylight window with no blind!!!

Wahnsinnig nettes Personal, das tolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt lieferte. Störend war nur der Baulärm von der Baustelle nebenan, aber da man ja sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs war, war das auch nicht so schlimm.

Estupendo alojamiento en el centro de Oporto

Pasamos unos días estupendos en este encantador alojamiento. Bien situado y cerca de todo. La habitación sencilla pero con lo necesario. Eso sí, prepara tus piernas para subir por las escaleras, aunque todo Oporto es así. Desayuno variado y rico. Lo mejor, el trato recibido por Laura y Hugo, una joven pareja que nos aconsejó y ayudó en todo lo posible.

The hotel is very central located, perfect distant to both the new town and the old town... The room is pretty small, with shower actually in the bedroom/above the bed itself, and the toilet have no door... it’s a slightly odd setup, make sure you are very close to the person you are sharing the room with, otherwise the service is perfect...

Buchung einfach, Check in bei der Anreise spät abends vom Hotel erklärt, Kommunikation von Anfang an sehr nett und Angaben genau. Schönes kleines Hotel, Kaffee, Bar in einem ursprünglichen alten Haus inmitten von Porto, sehr gut vom Bahnhof Sao Bento zu erreichen. Das Haus ist interessant, fast geheimnisvoll, über die Wendetreppe mit vielen Artefakten steigt man in die fünfte Etage. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer in der Mansarde, absolut authentisch, sauber und für die Größe sehr gemütlich. Schönes einheitliches Design, sehr gutes Bett, saubere Dusche. Aus dem Fenster ein unglaubliches Panorama über die Dächer der Altstadt. Check in in der Früh schnell und einfach, Laura hat uns sehr nett begrüsst, das Deponieren vom Gepäck war bereits bei der Buchung abgesprochen. Alle Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und nett. Die Bedienung im Kaffee freundlich und gut informiert. Personal super freundlich, hilfsbereit und multilingual. Man hat von Anfang an das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Tagsüber sehr gutes Essen, auch Kleinigkeiten frisch zubereitet im Kaffee im Erdgeschoss. Dort Porto Verkostungen angeboten. Ein schönes kleines Abenteuer im Porto, das unser Urlaub bereichert hatte. Lovely place.

This place has been well renovated to a good standard. The staff are very helpful. As I expected with a city centre location there is some traffic noise but the convenience makes up for that. The only real difficulty I had was the number of steps to my room which was on the 4th floor, the steps were narrow and steep and the lighting was inadequate. However, overall I would stay there again.

Small but great location

Close to train station & main square. Refurbished small but thoughtfully & smartly designed rooms. Friendly staff. Great shower. Depending on what floor you are on the stairs can be difficult.
