"We had an incredible stay at Villa Elpina. The villa's position is incredible, perched high up on the mountainside, with far-reaching views of the north-east coastline and Cephalonia in the distance.
The villa is modern with every amenity you could wish for (3 x different coffee machine – ideal for me as a coffee lover!). We’ve stayed in large villas before and it’s common for some bedrooms to feel like afterthoughts, but that’s not the case here, with all four bedrooms having beautiful en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, large TVs, and beautiful views.
Perhaps our favourite part of the villa was the outside kitchen area, with fridges, an oven with hobs, a large charcoal grill and TV. This space really brought all generations of our group together, not just for meals, but also to play cards around the huge table and get out of the sun for a while.
The pool and jacuzzi sections are great – the jacuzzi are was popular with our 4 year old as he could stand up and join in the pool fun without the need for armbands.Lastly, a huge shout-out to Valia, our wonderful host. She was so welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about the island – where to eat, where to find the best cocktails, which beaches were best etc. With her background as a private chef – a service we’ll be using next time – she was so helpful in sourcing incredible local meat for the BBQ (her uncle is local butcher) and some incredible local wine to pair with the meat. Book this place, you won't regret it!"
