"Pousada Belas Aguas is delightful. The charming owners and went out of their way to make us feel at home snd arrange boat outings and transportation to and from the airport for us. It is the most attractive of the pousadas we saw in the village, with newer, freshly painted buildings, light-filled rooms, and its own little beachfront adjacent to the main beach. The loft rooms have a kind of ladder to the loft with the larger bed; its not for anyone with mobility issues. There is no dock so you need to be able to get i n and out of the boat in the beach in a bit of water, and one of the boat outings includes a steep-ish half hour hike. We loved it and already miss Lucas and his family. Thank you!"

"If you want to feel at home... stay here the people are so friendly. The food and cocktails are amazing as are the views. The layout of the motel is on a mountain, so the property and veranda for relaxing allow for great view, peaceful evenings. Given that its on a mountain...the road leading up to is small but navigable. Parking is available up top... you descend from the top. Enjoy this beautiful property. Also, they offer excursions via boat which are top notch and safe."

"My boyfriend and I came from New York City to Casa de Ilha for two nights. We had an amazing experience. First of all the view and the facility is incredible. It’s small with only 4 to 5 rooms. Each room has a private Jacuzzi overlooking the water. And there is a small private beach with chairs and umbrellas. They also had kayaks, paddle board and snorkeling equipment. The staff was super nice and attentive. Specifically Tao, was super helpful as he was one of the only English speakers. They made sure our stay was perfect. They even gave us a late checkout at 6pm on our last day (it cost extra). Breakfast is served at 8 AM or 9:30 AM and dinner is served at seven or 730 every day. The food was delicious. To enter/exit the island you could take a public speedboat or a private boat. We opted for the private boat so that we could stay a little bit longer. The last public speedboat was at 4 PM. Overall, if you are looking for a romantic, secluded, intimate getaway I would highly recommend staying here. It is more expensive than some of the options nearby but I think it was worth it just for the jacuzzi/private beach."
