"This property is exceptional. The house itself is lovely with everything you need, a very well-equipped kitchen, good bedrooms, lovely lounge & dining area with everything clean and nicely decorated.The pool area is very well designed with an outdoor kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. The sunken seated area next to pool is perfect for evening lounging and star gazing. There is also a very well-maintained tennis court. There are no neighbours so it’s a perfectly peaceful setting and the views are simply stunning. It’s a wonderful place to relax with family and friends. Communication with Henri (property owner) through the booking process was clear and easy. Henri generously supplied welcome drinks and nibbles for us on arrival which was very welcome indeed!David (property manager) lives locally and provided a very warm welcome & tour of the property. He is very friendly and helpful with local knowledge and contacts. I got the impression nothing would be too much trouble for David to help with.It is a paradise!"

"We had the most wonderful stay at La Fenice. It’s a traditional French house with charm and character, making it very special. The communication from the owner was fantastic, answered all of my questions before and during our stay. Pierre Yves (the local manager) was lovely, very friendly, checked we were ok and if we needed anything but never intruded. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the house itself stayed cool despite the high temperatures thanks to its thick walls. The pool was absolutely perfect - refreshing, always at the right temperature, and the ideal spot to relax throughout the day. The garden offered the most beautiful view of the sunrise coming up over the distant mountains. The location is fantastic - quiet but not isolated. On a couple of the evenings we were there the local cafe/bar held events, one musical and one a film/food night. At the bottom of hill, La Pastorale restaurant was a real treat and comes highly recommended. We also loved exploring the local markets in Apt and Forcalquier – brimming with fresh produce, local wines, artisan goods, and plenty of treasures to bring home.This was a true home away from home – peaceful, comfortable, and full of Provençal character. We left feeling completely relaxed and would return in a heartbeat."

The kitchen was very well stocked and the games equipment was fantastic. We had so much fun in beautiful surroundings, no need to leave the property! "
