We had a great stay here again at the Ciffs and were really happy with the appartment amenities. The bed is really comfy and all the place is well equipped. No need for AC (the appartment has none) as hte breeze was perfect to have it cool during the day and night.We experienced an issue and Jeff Davis from Lotus management was really helpful and supportive, and all was set up thru emails and fast contacts, thank you again very much for your support.

The good news: the ocean view was fabulous, and the condo was decent, though in need of some upgrades. The bad news: the mattress was terrible! Woke up with a back ache each day. Truly in need of a new mattress!. Owners supplied no cooking spices other than salt and pepper...no foil or saran wrap for covering leftovers...only 2 one-use teeny boxes of laundry detergent, the smallest container of dish soap Ive ever seen, and garbage bags no thicker than toilet paper. I've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties, but never one so lacking in amenities. Just to ensure a balanced review, the ocean view was stunning.

Beautiful stay on a beautiful property as well. VRBO came stocked with everything we needed to enjoy vacation -kitchen utensils, appliances, beach chairs, and more. Lots of windows that let in the nice breeze of the coast. Great resort with events and food everyday. Would for sure come back!

Great stay

This was a really wonderful property! Clean and spacious condo with all the beach gear we needed! The grounds and beautiful with a nice pool, rec center with lots of activities, and chairs to sit in and watch the sunset on the lawn.

Nice time at the Cliffs

Condo is comfortable, great views and amenities at the resort. The condo is not serviced so no cleaning or towel/bed linen changes during the stay (unless you clean and do laundry yourself, which we did). Need to restock your own toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. The screen door kept coming off the track, the patio furniture is getting a bit rusted and the dining room/coffee tables are glass so may be an issue with younger kids. The stay was fine but the condos rented directly through the Cliffs are more updated and are serviced so just something to note depending on the experience you’re looking for. The hosts were responsive and helpful when needed.

Beautiful view

Nice home away from home with ocean view and multiple pool including an adult only section. Lovely grounds. Nice staff. My only suggestion is to go to Costco and get some newer tennis balls!

Great vacation

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The unit is exactly as pictured and described. The view from the back balcony was wonderful. The grounds of the property were very nice and quiet. We did have an issue with the dryer and when we reached we received a quick response. During our stay, we drove all around Kauai, and were extremely pleased that we decided to stay in Princeville and even more so at The Cliffs. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We hope to come back someday and will absolutely make this home our first search.

Great location

Great location in Princeville and on the island. Close to great beaches and sites. The unit has super views of the ocean and mountains and a comfy king size bed. However, the unit is dated, in need of some repairs, and there are no spices, etc. in the kitchen for use with the great outdoor BBQs.

Princeville gem

Condo was awesome! Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. View that can’t be beat! Could use updated blinds as many of them were broken but overall was a great stay. Would definitely return

Awesome ocean view location !

The ocean view from the patio was awesome , it was nice to be at a corner location and close to the cliffs. It was very relaxing , the condo had all the things we needed. The beach chairs were very handy. Was nice to have free bike rentals also.The only things that need improvement is the front door, it is hard to open. The vertical blinds need some work also. But overall, I would definitely recommend staying there, and hope to come back one day.

Great location

Well equipped condo. No AC but breeze is more than sufficient. Location ideal and nice on site amenities, pool, bikes, BBQ etc. spacious for 2. Easily fit two adults with 2 children on pullout sofa. Amazing ocean view.

Great Ocean overlook for the price

Great area… walkable to Queens bath and Hideaway Beach. Grounds are extremely clean. Pizza truck comes on Wednesdays and is a must. Tennis courts, pickle ball and bike rentals. This place has everything!

We loved staying at The Cliffs. Couple of issues.

When we arrived we could not open the door. The key would not turn. It took us awhile to get in. The door is very sticky when trying to get in. We assumed there was AC but there wasn’t. Our assumption was based on check out instructions we received saying make sure to turn off AC when leaving. There was a nice breeze in the condo but AC would have been nice as it was very very warm during our stay!

Wouldn’t Recommend

We were disappointed with the property - while the view was beautiful the listing was missing some critical items. First off, there was a dirty plate with dead bugs on top of the fridge when we first checked in. Also the pipe under the sink has a huge hole in it and was leaking water which lead to a smelly sink/kitchen area. When I called management to address the leak - it took 3 calls and several hours for someone to come to the property. Disappointment in this response time with a high end listing - also considering all the rules when checking in, I think it’s appropriate they would have fully cleaned the apartment and checked sink areas. Also towards the end of the week, we noticed a second leak from the light fixture in the second bathroom. Overall, disappointed with the maintenance and response time from management. The last think we want during vacation is to spend time calling about apartment issues/problems.

Beautiful stay…..

The Cliffs property where the condo is located is beautiful! The condo is as described, the location is perfect and it was prestine! There is no AC (and we knew this) but you def get a wonderful cross breeze throughout the unit with all the windows and two sliders it offers. The bed was super comfy and the washer/dryer came in handy as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and would def rent this property again! TYSM for sharing your home with us!

8 nights of heaven

Property was even better than advertised. The condo was very comfortable, well appointed & immaculately clean. All appliances worked well and kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, glasswear ect. We ate most of our meal on the deck facing the water. We were able to immediately relax as furniture was clean & comfortable. This property is a 5 star property!
