Quaint stand-alone cottage - 2 bedroom 2 bath

This is a unique stand alone cottage in the Princeville Paniolo condominium complex. The cottage has two large living spaces. Walk in the front door and turn right, that leads to the main living area, featuring living, dining, full kitchen with laundry, full bath and a lofted sleeping area. Take a left and you enter an oversized bedroom, with another full bath, plus extra bonus living area! A wall of windows and sliding glass doors lead to a comfortable lanai on each side. The spacious kitchen has a full complement of small appliances, dishware and tableware and has been recently updated with Quartz counters, new floors, and a new dishwasher. The lanais overlook the Prince Golf Course (currently not in use) and the path to Anini Beach. Sleeping in the loft is a queen bed (caution: this space can be quite hot much of the year). Sleeping on the bedroom side is two queen beds. Both sides have lots of light and comfortable seating. New ceiling fans have been installed in both sides of the unit. The unit offers the privacy of a single family home, located just step away from the pool in the complex. This is one of the most conveniently located properties in the Princeville at Hanalei Resort Community. It's located on the path that leads to shopping, Princeville Park, the library, and happy hour at the Westin. Add the hiking path to Anini Beach which makes this a great choice for those who enjoy walking. This unit has two reserved parking spots for your exclusive use, parking is located right at your front door. There is no parking or resort fee. An affordable destination to enjoy all of the activities the north shore has to offer! This is a non-smoking unit.

Sehr gute Beschreibung des Objektes und der Örtlichkeiten. Der Pool und die Anlage waren sehr gepflegt. Wir haben das Haus alleine zu Zweit bewohnt. Das Bett im oberen Bereich haben wir nicht genutzt, denn es war, wie beschrieben wirklich sehr warm. Ein Late-Check-out war auch unproblematisch. Noch einmal ein Danke für die immer sehr zeitnahe Kommunikation.

Great Spot!

Super nice space, it was perfect for what we needed. There’s no AC, but there’s lots of provided fans which cool the space down alright. Would happily stay here again.

Lovely cottage, easy walk to market, great walkway toward Hanalei, cool path down the cliff to the beach! We have stayed in this cottage before and always will!

Nice area.

Showed up to he property and as stated it’s at the end of the parking lot in one of the older areas in the area. The pool is pretty uneventful a little run down and small, but we use a Hawaii place as a place to sleep and base ops…so it was fine. When we walked into the house it was clean and orderly. We walked into the room with the double beds and the mold smell was overwhelming. As we walked in the rest of the house it was a little better. We ended up sleeping in the loft with fans blowing fresh air from the windows and were able to do a few nights like that. The problem we had was to keep the mold smell at bay we had to have all the windows open. Some of the screens don’t fit well and bugs get in the house…which is a bit inconvenient but it’s an adventure! After three nights we couldn’t stay there anymore. The mold won and we had to find a new place to stay. The property manager was great to work with and sympathetic to our situation. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to a friend. I understand the difficulty of keeping a property up in the tropics and actually work throughout Asia spending 120-130 nights in hotels ranging from Seoul to Saigon. That’s part of the charm of a VRBO, I can cook with my wife and have a non hotel vacation. After 13 years of different VRBO properties I have to admit this was the worst one.

Great location. Close to beaches, shopping, a grocery store and delicious hawaiian food. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Time in Kauai

Great little place to stay for a week! Trail to Anini beach is pretty steep, but our 3 and 5 year old were able to manage and the beach is beautiful!

Large unit, quiet, needs updating

Unit needs some updating. They measured for new kitchen countertop and dishwasher while we were there. Don't understand only initial stocking of supplies for our 3 week stay and nothing after that.VRBO fees are absurd. property manager was nice and responsive. Nice pool area.

Great little spot in Princeville

This was perfect for our family’s vacation. Great location, awesome hiking trail nearby to get to the beach and just a short drive down to Hanalei bay. Property was clean, the breeze at night and the added fans helped keep the place cool enough for sleeping (I’m a super must be cold sleeper! ) We would stay here again!

Pictures look amazing

Just a heads up the front door faces the parking lot for the apartment complex and dumpster. If there are ppl arriving late or leaving super early they may wake you since the bedroom is located right in front of the community parking lot. Other than that it’s a great minimalistic setup!

Princeville cottage

The location of the cottage is perfect. The beds were comfortable and plenty of amenities. There’s also 2 lovely patios for outdoor chill time. You will need to restock your own toilet tissue and paper towels for you stay. There are restaurants, retail and a Foodland nearby. Don’t miss the Farmers Markets happening weekday/end, they have a list in the welcome binder. Also don’t skip the short downhill walk/ hike down to the beach. Great Sandy area and shallow for snorkeling. We will be back! Aloha

Convenient spot on the north shore

Great area, with the Princeville center close by and Hanalei about 15 min max drive. Enjoyed hearing the birds sing every morning. About 45 mins to an hour to get to south side of island (Kapaa, Lihue, Poipu). Host made everything easy with notes and binders of information. Trail close by to take you down to more secluded parts of Anini beach (about 1/2 mi walk) or you can drive 10 minutes to Anini Beach parking lot. Only cons: No A/c Bed in master - very firm and uncomfortable Showers - Space out showers because hot water doesn't last long.

Wonderful Vacation Rental Property

This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. The accomodations were exactly what we needed for my wife and I and our teenage daughter and her friend. The kids each had a bed in one side of the condo and my wife and I had our wing. This allowed us to all commune when we wanted to, but then have separation when that was opportune. The location couldn't be better. The north side of Kauai was spectacular. We will likely stay here again when return some day. There is no A/C, so it got a bit warm, but the fans worked well and we were out exploring all day, so no.matter. it was cool enough in the evening. I highly recommend this rental!

Great Deal

Property is listed as sleeping 4 but can really sleep 6 which makes it a great value. It could use some updating but was very clean and functional. The manager was great to work with. We would highly recommend and would come back again!

Nice place!!

We loved staying here! The house is well situated in the developed area of Princeville. Grocery store and a couple of good restaurants are a short drive or a ten minute walk away. About a 20 minute walk to the Queens Bath and Wyllie's Beach. (It's STEEP, wear Tevas.) Easy drive into Hanalei Bay with all the activities and a few more beach bars. The house is very nice and the left-hand bed is super comfortable. Good kitchen and having two bathrooms is key for couples who want to spread out. The neighbors in the complex were super friendly, and the pool is right out front. -E
