The cottage was perfect for our family of four. The views were beautiful, so we spent a lot of time out on the patio and enjoying the pool area. The location was within easy drivimg distance to everything on the island. The Grace Bay and Chalk Sound areas were all within 15 to 20 minutes. The cottage was clean and nicely designed with everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!!

Awesome stay

Ray and Allison were super attentive. The cottage was exactly as described. Our two adult children and us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely views. Crossing our fingers on a future return. TCI is a wonderful island and so are its people and the beaches are the best we’ve experienced and we have travelled a bit.

Really enjoyed our stay there! Location was great, pretty quiet and was only a short drive to get to Grace Bay. Beautiful views from the cottage and communication with the management was easy. Definitely recommend this place!

Great space!

The space was as billed. If you are staying for a week you’ll need to get a refill on the 5 gallon water dispenser, it’s $2 and there are multiple locations so no big deal. Really pretty private!

Stunning Views

The views from this property are absolutely stunning. The cottage is exactly as described. It had everything we needed for beach days and for grilling and cooking. Great pool and outdoor kitchen/fire pit area. The Venetian Settlement area is very nice, and everything is just a short drive away. We rented a car (a must if you want to truly see the island and all the beaches it has to offer). This place is perfect for a family of four or two couples.

Amazing time at an amazing cottage

This cottage was super cute. The pics don’t do it justice. The beds were super comfy. My family especially enjoyed the pool- my kids went right to the pool after spending the day at the beach. Terri, Allison, and Ray we’re all very easy to contact if needed. Amazing view of the ocean. They have a few beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool floaties there to use. We would definitely stay again.

MISLEADING

Our stay was extremely disappointing and not at all as pictured. We initially thought we had the wrong property due to how different it looked. The home was outdated, with old, worn furniture, missing ceiling fans (due to a past storm but never replaced), and cigarette burns and stains on chair pads. The yard was overgrown with weeds, and the outdoor area was dirty—empty bottles, dirty rags, and a grill that was rusted and unusable. The pool had debris, and overall the exterior looked neglected.Inside wasn’t much better—everything felt old and poorly maintained. The only positive was the view, but that didn’t justify the price. We ended up leaving the next morning, missing planned excursions and having to scramble to find another place. Thankfully, we found a much nicer home for less that was newly built, close to the best beach and all of the great restaurants. The host did communicate quickly and offered a full refund, which I appreciated, but I didn’t agree with her excuse that the outdoor area was hard to maintain. Most of the issues were easy fixes—trash could be thrown away, and broken furniture should’ve been replaced. I’ve had to go through VRBO, my credit card company, and the BBB to resolve the refund as they tried to charge me over 900 for one night. Overall, this home was not worth the cost, time, or stress. I would not recommend it. Do not fall for this. Especially if you like luxury which is what you would expect at this price.

Such a wonderful place and location!

I honestly do not know where to start. The location and views are nothing short of awesome. Stepping in or out of the house, you're just about always greeted with a view. The house is perfect for a couple, with a guest or two, cozy without being cramped. The large property ensure privacy, yet it is just a 5 minute drive to the main highway and the grocery store. The property manager was super-communicative, we can't wait to come back!

A wonderful stay!!

Great communication with the hosts before, during, and after our stay. Finding the house was easy with their directions and check in was a breeze! The house and grounds are beautiful, we loved sitting by the pool in the mornings, just enjoying the peaceful views. We did have an issue which the hosts worked to resolve right away and communicated with us promptly throughout and it was resolved within the day (the AC stopped working and they had a new minisplit put in.). The house is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The bedrooms each have their own AC and we slept very well. I have absolutely no complaints and would love to stay again!!

Wonderful Cottage

This is a very special rental. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is lovely, with a good kitchen, nice bedrooms, newly redone bathrooms, and numerous ceiling fans to help keep it cool. We loved the seclusion and privacy the location offered, yet also found it a quick drive to everything on the island. The couple staying in the Studio were polite and friendly, making it easy to share the outdoor space. When we ran into a couple of problems prior to arrival, the hosts were very willing to problem-solve with us. As mentioned in other reviews, a couple of items require attention: the main screen door needs to be replaced and the safe must be bolted to the floor.

Great location and stunning natural beauty

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sunrise Ridge in the Venetian Settlement on Turks and Caicos, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings. The property is perched perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and pristine beaches that the islands The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the outdoor dining area provided the perfect setting for enjoying them. The staff - Terri and Alison were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Location-wise, Sunrise Ridge couldn't be better. It offers a sense of peaceful seclusion while still being conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The nearby beaches are some of the best I have ever seen, with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water that are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. Overall, my stay at Sunrise Ridge in the Venetian Settlement was nothing short of exceptional. It provided a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and natural beauty. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway in Turks and Caicos.

Perfect week and house!

We could not be happier with our stay here! We stayed at the cottage with our two sons ages 12 and 15. The home and the views are spectacular! The breezes are wonderful, we typically would have used air conditioning at night but the temperature was great and the ceiling fans were perfect. We did use the AC tonight and it works very quickly and efficiently. We rented a car for the week and drove to many beaches which was part of the excitement for us. The one that is only a mile and a half away at turtle tail is spectacular and something that you should definitely do also. Because of the winds on certain days we ended up liking long day as one of our favorites. The property manager Allison was so helpful as we began the booking process at home and during our stay answering any questions that we had along the way. Very prompt and friendly. I could not believe how safe the island is, and all of the employees are using wonderful precautions, spray your hands with sanitizer before you walk in, masks are being worn, and they have a curfew right now where restaurants close at 8 PM and you must be in to your property by 9 PM which I think is very courteous and smart. Allison made it easy for us finding a reasonably are used Covid test so that we could re-enter the US. We had ours done at 7 stars resort which was only $50 per person which was actually quite easy and less expensive than we had been told prior. Just stop by the resort and they can tell you how to register for an appointment. We would highly recommend this home An

Beautiful property and yes definitely a cottage vibe

We were delighted to stay for 11 days. Here are some highlights & ideas on how the property could be even more amazing. Highlights: • View: Pristine waters, no boat traffic, and an awesome sunrise. • Breeze: Allowed us to avoid using the air conditioning for nearly the entire stay. • Tranquility: At the end of a Court road, in a quiet residential community. The pool is shared with the adjacent 'Studio' property, however our neighbours were very quiet. The family at the neighboring 'Villa' property was also quiet. • Amenities: We appreciated the semi-private pool, outdoor lounge with BBQ & fire pit, private parking, ensuite bathrooms, washer & dryer, and beach items such as chairs & snorkeling fins. • Help & service: The interior is ultra-clean and the outdoor areas are nicely maintained. For the couple questions I raised during our visit, Terri was quick to help. The pre-arrival property guide was excellent! Opportunities: The "cottage" moniker covers some of the cottage-like experiences - for example the rickety screen door, the minimal shelf-space in the bedroom closets, the lack of toilet paper holders. That said there were a few elements that ended up being downsides: • Septic smell that wafted through the kitchen/living area multiple times. Maybe an incorrectly installed trap behind the washing machine? • Rooftop noise from the couple rain showers was expected considering the roof is metal, however what was frustrating was that our roof made clattering or creaking noises during any amount of wind gust each night. • Not an issue though surprising that the property looked a bit different than the photos in the listing. The renovation likely made improvements however it would be good to update the photos to reflect the new kitchen & bathroom layout, the slight differences in furniture items, and lack of Adirondack chair section overlooking Flamingo Lake. • Poor kitchen setup. Lack of overhang at the bar counter made it uncomfortable to sit/eat. Lack of any kitchen overhead/stovetop/microwave lighting made it gloomy to prep food in the evenings. And for a property that might have 4 guests, a few of the kitchen items felt limited such as only 1 cutting board, only 1 paring knife, only a 2-slice toaster, etc. Only minor inconveniences however as we do a lot of our own food prep during vacations, it made the property less compelling. Overall a good stay at Sunrise Ridge Cottage. Thank you Alison for sharing this property with visitors!

Beautiful home and view

We enjoyed the property. The location was easy to get to all restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed having our own pool and patio. The view while having our coffee in the morning was amazing. We did lose power twice while we were there but Allison and Terri responding and checked on it within the hour. I understand it is common on the island. This property is a must to rent if you want privacy with a view but close to everything with a car. The property has everything you need and the beds are also comfortable. If you are going with a larger family there is a larger house next door or you can rent the studio next door as an addition to the cottage. Great property we plan to go back.

Great place to stay with a small family

My family had a really great time on our vacation here. The private pool has a beautiful view and was the perfect place to relax after a day of activities on the island. The hosts could not have been more responsive. We accidentally left a few items behind and the host let us know before we even noticed and had them shipped back to us. We would highly recommend renting this property.

Paradise

Enjoyed our stay and already miss that view. Had a water and power outage for several hours during our stay. We enjoyed daily visits from two local cats. It’s beautiful and we hope to return someday.

Absolutely spectacular with exceptional communication.

The views are NOT to be missed - TCI is mostly flat, so to be up on a bluff is completely unique. You are surrounded by views. The property is secluded, serene, and spotless. We treasured our sunrise. Communication with Alison was next-level, and so appreciated. Would love to return for a longer stay.
