"This property offers an excellent combination of location, comfort, and amenities. It is ideally situated for travelers seeking a quiet retreat on the west side of the Big Island without the atmosphere of a large resort. The home is within walking distance of the beach and exceptional snorkeling and diving spots, and only a short drive from some of the island’s best restaurants and golf courses.The unit is thoughtfully equipped with everything a couple or small family might need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is spotless and fully stocked, and the property includes air conditioning (though the ocean breeze often makes it unnecessary), in‑unit laundry, Roku TV, fast internet, strong water pressure, and a spacious shower. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The onsite hosts are attentive and readily available should any needs arise."

"Great location for snorkeling or diving. Hapuna Beach was a hit for the kids! 2 hours to Kilauea and Hilo. No A/C. Fridge has been replaced with a larger one from the welcome video which is great! Grilling on the deck was great. Mosquitos were definitely an issue in mid-April - so plan ahead with bug spray and don't plan on eating on the porch ;)Puako area has been overrun by sea urchins unfortunately due to overfishing (more urchins per sq/m than anywhere else in the world - sad state of affairs for our coral reefs these days but that has nothing to do with the property ;)"

"What an amazing location! From the beautiful sun rises over Mauna Kea, the gentle crashing waves you can hear from the bedrooms. This house is perfect. We stayed for a week and the house was perfect for our small family with small children. Puako is a charming community, it feels safe, and the beach across the street has gentle waves for the littles to enjoy."
