"The hotel itself is beautiful with a lovely breakfast and clean cool with hammocks. The location of the hotel however it is in the jungle area so walking distance to the centre of town can be tricky. Also, they didn’t have the bicycles on hand so we had to take taxis. However, if you were looking for solitude, it is very close to an amazing beach that doesn’t have lots of people which can be worth it. "We had a wonderful time at Isla Holbox, this is my 3rd trip, and one of my favorite warm holiday spots! This time, I was with my two grandchildren, they loved staying at the fabulous home. The photos are very realistic, and the home is gorgeous, clean, quiet, safe and beautifully decorated. My only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the bed pillows. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows could use a refresh. Don't let that stop you from staying here - it was a 9.999 out...

"We stayed for 5 nights. We loved the location of the hotel, all of the amenities, and the room was both very clean and beautiful. The receptionists Daisy and Kassandra were very welcoming, pleasant, and professional. Kassandra went above and beyond in recommending tours, restaurants, and assisting in getting take-out food. We highly recommend Casa Astral and we plan on coming back soon!"
"We loved our stay at Hau. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast wasn’t that great, but they have other options that they charge. Beach was perfect and although it seemed possible, but walking into downtown was impossible via beach or the road. The roads were flooded and there’s many barriers on the beach. Still a great location and loved having access to Spirit rooftop pool and restaurant. The perfect getaway for a couple! "
