Our roomy cottage is the perfect island getaway for families and friends to have fun and unwind. Centrally located, yet off the beaten path - it's walking distance to all of the downtown action. There's also plenty of entertainment space both inside and out to comfortably gather and stretch out.

The large open floor plan gives you the chance to get everyone together. The fully stocked kitchen leads into the large main living area with plenty of lounge and dining seating for everyone.

Outside you'll enjoy the spacious deck and large treed lot - plenty of sun and shade for everyone. You can take your meal outside with the propane grill and large outdoor dining area. The fire pit provides a relaxing night time gathering spot.

The 3 bedroom cottage has 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds and a queen sized memory foam sleeper sofa and can sleep up to 10 people in beds.

2024 Update: All new flooring and paint throughout the home. New mini-split AC/Heating units in each of the bedrooms and main living room. New beds and mattresses in all the bedrooms. Kitchen remodeled in 2022 and bathrooms in 2018.
NOTE: If booking over the weekend, both Friday and Saturday nights must be reserved.

We had a wonderful little cottage. It was decorated very nice and had lots of room. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to eat/cook there without going out. The location was on a dead end road with no access to the water but it was very quiet. Not fancy but a good location with a nice big deck and grill. We enjoyed our visit very much! And the puzzles were a big hit!!!

Nice House

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 2 families, 4 adults and 3 kids. The house had everything we needed and was close to downtown.

Volleyball tourney stay

Family trip

Only thing I would caution others of is the transition from one room to another. Our granddaughter tripped on the lip of the floor between every room lol or even the hallway step. Truth is we also fell for the first few days. But after a few falls we learned 😅 enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, but the property has some maintenance issues that need addressed. Many of the lights don't work. There was a water leak in one bathroom. We were told to expect a plumber who didn't show. The house fan did not work and we received no response to our inquiry about it. Grill burners were all three rusted and falling apart. Kitchen is well stocked. House is esthetically very pleasing but the uneven levels of the floors with no transition thresholds create a number of tripping hazards. Would stay again probably. But would look around for another property in this price range first.

Very misleading! We left 30 minutes of arriving to stay someplace else.

I have never written a negative description of a place we’ve stayed at before but I felt that everyone looking on PIB needs to know our thoughts on this place. We felt the pictures online were very misleading. I took picture of my own that I wish I could share here. We felt (3 adults and 3 younger teens) that this place was so uninhabitable that we payed for another place and were willing to take the financial loss for it. The owners worked with us very well and were responsive to our needs and did refund us two out of the three nights but it still caused our group a lot of stress that evening. It was the Fourth of July the first night and half of us were forced to stay there as the rest found a small hotel room on the island. I will describe the place as we saw it: - moldy, musty smell especially in the two main bedrooms and full bath that all join together -one bed head butts up against a door to the sketchy, dirty garage buildings -multi level/surface floors- the floors were so different in levels that my daughter who is 11 fell so hard it busted up both of her knees -beds and padding were cheap, uncomfortable, and some dirty -most of the furniture was cheap and old -think college frat house -wet laundry still in the washer and dryer was broken (owner stated he ordered a new one) -sliding door won’t lock and a board is jammed there to hold door some areas of house are okay -kitchen, main bathroom Sorry to have to say all this but felt I must.

PIB rental

Property was just ok. It was clean and our family had a great time but I just do not feel it’s worth the amount of money we spent (to include a 415 service fee)! The house has many different levels and you have to walk through someone’s room to get to the additional bedroom. The deck is peeling and needs refinished. Could have nicer patio furniture. We have stayed in much nicer places for less without the ridiculous service fee….

July 4th trip

Our family all go together for a trip to Put in Bay and we had a great time. Cottage was at a great location close to everything. Very clean and new. We were very happy with our stay and our hosts. They responded quickly to any question we had. Thank you!

Great stay. Place was SUPER clean. Description was mostly accurate. There were 2 towels and hand towels on each bed, and also a set of sheets and 2 pillow cases on each bed as well, which was a pleasant surprise.Zero complaints, place was perfect.10/10

Great Cottage!

We stayed at this cottage for our annual spring fishing trip to Lake Erie. The stay was fantastic. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked very well, enough room throughout the place for our gear and didn’t feel cramped, outside electrical outlet and hose hook up to use, and finally easy access in and out. Was great to have the outside deck for winding down after a long day of fishing.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

We came to celebrate a birthday and our group had a blast! The location is on a quiet street and close enough to walk downtown! The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We also utilized the kitchen for meals and we had all the necessary tools. The deck and grill were an added bonus!

Awesome time at this VRBO. Place was very nice, great beds and great pull out couch. Some nice pots and pans for usage. Showers were very clean and good water pressure/temp. Great location and close proximity to the town. Only small downside was the floors felt a little dirty. Overall GREAT trip and great VRBO
