Location in Old Town was very convenient. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast buffet was great for someone like me who is avoiding carbs (though the pastries looked good), and jazz in the bar was fun. Really enjoyed our stay.

Five star boutique hotel. Exceptional rooms, service and location with so many thoughtful details - they thought of everything. The location is perfect. Centrally located in the heart of old Quebec City and an easy walk to everything. Definitely would love to stay there again and highly recommend it.

this hotel is modern and extremely clean. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are the most comfortable kings bed in the hotel industry, I hope that they install chair height toilets to make the experience even better

Terrific location, chic/art-filled hotel with helpful staff. The bar/restaurant was beautifully decorated and has interesting dishes though the serving size was smaller than I'm used to. A great place to visit Old Quebec. Highly recommend.

Our second stay at MJ — loved it the first time a few years ago and didn’t even consider other places this time! A unique, fun, thoughtful, and relaxing place to stay. Worth upgrading to a room with a panoramic view. We got free breakfast through Expedia booking — small but wonderful selection. All in all, an amazing hotel in a great location. Highly recommend! Parking tip: If you have a car, the public parking garage right next door (7 Rue Pierre Olivier Chauveau Garage) is perfect — cleaner than the ones across the road, and far more convenient and cheaper than valet.

We so enjoyed our stay at Monsieur Jean in Quebec City. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old city. Room was great, staff excellent and the restaurant and bar were truly a treat. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning in the future.
